How To Do A Round Kick | Kickboxing for Beginners

In this tutorial, FightCamp Trainer Aaron Swenson will teach you how to do a roundhouse kick, or also known as a round kick. He’ll break down each step for doing a proper roundhouse kick and help you generate more power with each throw. If you are starting to learn the basics of kickboxing or wanting to improve this common kickboxing move, then this video will help you perfect your kick in no time.
Roundhouse kick points to remember:
1. Step 45 degrees across your opponent
2. Hit with your shin or top of the foot
3. Pivot the base of your foot

FINALLY---Someone who does a roundhouse kick properly! I have been to so many kickboxing fitness classes and all-ALL- of them teach a roundhouse kick with both feet facing the bag and no pivot on your lead foot. Ridiculous!!!

Nice video! When you do the kick fast you don't chamber the knee straight up, it comes up in a 45 degree angle. Which one should i aim for?
