Finally found a channel with the best old school tricks, not a spring chicken anymore so THANKS' don't need the dolphin flips,,,just pure old school shredding, grew up in the Animal Chin, Public Domain, H street, Frankie Hill, Streets of Fire days and this is the where I'll probably stay, R e s p e c t

One of the most stylish tricks ever. Been doing them ever since I can remember. You can also do variations like 360 berts or do a bert to rock& roll on a quarter pipe. Careful though! Do this enough on concrete and it’ll rip your wheels.

I'm really good at front side berts, but I struggle a bit with back side berts, but I'm going to take your advice on folding your knee down, I forget that asthetic sometimes.

Raddii! The best channel on KZbin! Your trick tips have helped me a ton, but I have reduced mobility due to sports injuries, I think it'd be awesome if you could include suggestions for your less rubbery bros out there! For instance on this trick, a tuck knee stance is impossible for me due to knee and ankle issues. I'd love to hear your suggestions for overcoming mobility limitations, since you've got a golden way of explaining stuff! Thanks for all your videos!

Is it still considered a Bert slide if you do it sliding backside? Or does that have a different name? Still look sick either way but I want to learn it frontside like you do it

GREAT stuff eh. Thanks! Kids these days, amirite? LOL I had two nephews graduate this summer. Different sisteres. Both skated to a degree. I'm an 80s skater who fell off and now is inhibited by severe arthritis. At their combo-graduation party i was messin around on a board. Got a bit confident. Tried to show them a Bert .... BUT!! Wearing sandals. ANd .. well ... Poor sandals. :( ....... and Teva no longer even sells anything in that STYLE. ....... (sent them this vid tho as post-explanation. Well done eh thx) But no, really. After decades of pretty hardcore tech-skating, it's nice to see the simple stlyleee stuff comin back. This shit seems simple (and sure, is. Technically) .. to do it it WELL! Where it looks helldamnfartcool? THAT takes the groove. Gotta be a hoopy frood who can jive with the flow. In the Van's Bowl comps in particular I've seen the changes. Them yongunz at first were trying to skate pool like vert. Or worse, be a street skater trying to skate vert in a pool. LOL!! And it showed!! After a few years tho? Hell yeah!! They're startin to get it. A cranked-out stylee 5-0 around a bend in the square pool can be as good or better than a precision 720. And LINES! Not just back and forth. Anyhow. I ramble on. Great vid man, thx .. OH! And yes. I was able to pull it back in despite the borked sandal. Barely and slowly. ALSO recorded some vid of flat-back luge which I have not yet uploaded. Something I hadn't done in YEARS!! AND!! lol ... My left foot STILL has a scab scar from when the elder brother of one of them two nephews gradiatered like .. 3? ish yrs ago ..... At HIS party I got bored and started mssin rnd on a board. Trying to do Casper 180s ... AGAIN! Wearing sandals. For at least a 1/2 hr ... So yeah. Your run-of-the-mill grip-tape scab from THAT one. ... Impressed the nephews tho. LOL (As did the Bert incidentally.)
