Shouldn't the transmision diagnostics segment also be carried over? And maybe it would be good to mention that the operating systems have to be the same on both tune files or else you won't be able to swap the segment over.

yep and its nearly impossible to find a 4l80 trans segment with my 5.3 4l60 OS id

junk ass gm ecms with id 12202088 cant be swapped. and you have to pay hptuners extra credits to change the ID what a sorry company.

Maybe the reason you're having "finickey" tunes, is because you're not searching for a tune properly. You read your current module. Find the OS number, and search the tune repository using that number. If you load the wrong OS onto your module, you will have issues...

So since the 99-00 TA/Camaro pcm has a different OS than the 01-02 pcm's does that mean I can't change to the newer engine parameters? Its greyed out when I try with an 02 model but not greyed when I have another 00 compare file opened.
