How To Do A Tune-up 2.7 Toyota

Wow.. I thought the world was gonna end when you first started it, or maybe the rag is still in the air intake, good thing you mentioned the throttle cleaner :) These engines are the best! They do get quite thirsty in the city

I freaked out my first time I cleaned the throttle.Yes these 2.7's are easy to work on. They do get thirty in the city, but I like to drive like an old man LOL!

so it wouldnt start because you cleaned out the tb? and thanks for the video im looking to buy a 4runner 2.7 5spd for my new daily driver but i wanted to see how hard they were to work on and man it looks easy !

Yes the engine was kind of flooded from the cleaner. The 2.7 is pretty easy to work on, I love it! The older 3.0 looks like a nightmare to work on. Thanks!

+Jon M. my dad has owned 5 Toyota 4runners in the past and he told me to stay away from the 3.0 and stick to the 3.4 / 2.7 96+ so thats what im looking into

+jeffrey aguilar That would be my recommendation as well. It's hard to find a good one that's in good shape for not too much $. But when you do, jump on it. Good luck!

+jeffrey aguilar I have a 2007 2.7L Tacoma (2tr-fe engine). It's not a large engine, but man is it a charm of a motor. Solid, torquey, and built to last
