@@spencercolgan for better or worse you get comments when posting your work publicly on social media and then are subject to 100’s if not 1,000’s of Aunt Ethel’s and Uncle Bob’s, who while sitting on their brains, have nothing better to do than pick out there people flaws.

@@customrefinishingSTL Please remember that some of us might actually be more experienced than Mr.Colgan and take exception to his methods of doing installs and his attitude expressing them. This does not mean that we are knit picking his methods, it means that we are calling him out for poor practices.

@@williams.porter6182 I understand and respect there are differences of opinions, methods, and attitudes. He does often state there are other ways and says why he’s chosen his. If you have a KZbin channel then I’d be interested in checking yours out as well. Mr. Colgan does have a unique ability of bringing his inner thoughts forward verbally. Which I find not only interesting, but also entertaining, honest and true. He’s not perfect, none of us are. Sometimes you have to split reason with sanity, efficiency, and reality. When you are self employed you have a unique set of challenges and perspective and the end results can be impacted by those. When you’re employed by someone and possibly closed minded then you can have a different view, right? I can see people having personality conflicts with him because “maybe” he’s blessed with more self awareness in a way that could be interpreted as unnecessarily cynical or disrespectful. I think he’s aware of this and using it to be comical. I like the man, his work, and his Chanel. I hope he’s not dissuaded or hurt by naysayers and continues to post content the way he has been for years. I’m not challenging you a personal level regarding morals, values, or ethics. I’m asking that maybe you share where you’re posting your content so we can see what it’s like to as you say “do things right”.

It all depends on pattern your hanging If your not ending say behind door in corner You need to get creative where you end it by overlapping paper and double cut not necessarily the straight line you can follow patterns go left right make it very creative Say your hanging a very bold stripe pattern and bathroom door is in middle of wall you can’t end in corner as you may end up with two is same colors next to each other I’ve been hanging paper vinyls you name it for 46 years Now say your hanging a be bold stripe paper say black
