Hey so nail tech here, I saw in the video that you only put primer, I would recommend buying a dehydrator and putting on dehydrator, wait til it’s dry and then put primer, also tap 3 times into your acrylic for your wet acrylic bead rather than dragging it. I also recommend that you make an apex to make your nails last longer. It doesn’t have to be really think but you barely added any acrylic and I recommend adding another layer or two the same thickness you did for your first layer but only add it near ur cuticle towards where the fake tip meets your natural nail. It’ll make a big difference in your application and duration of your nails.

@@jadaanderson821I’ve been doing acrylic nails for 3 years now I recommend purchasing a nail dehydrator. Nail polish remover is not a good alternative to a dehydrator, this is due to the additives in it. Which are added to keep the nails nourished and prevent drying them out. The entirety of the dehydrator is to dry the nail to increase the time the nails last. The reason for dehydrator being so important for a long lasting nail set, is because it further attaches the acrylic being that it has a better adhesion due to the dryness of the nail.

Tip for your nail health; don’t peel off your acrylic even if it’s already lifting bc it damages the nail I would recommend soaking in acetone instead or even drilling the product off. something to keep in mind is that if your product lifts its most likely taking some of your natural nail with it so it’s best to prep your nails properly so you don’t get lifting -Also consistent use of cuticle oil will do wonders Hope this info helps!

Hey Katelyn i wanted to comment on one if the things u said in ur video!! I have been doing my own nails with everything you name it!! Polygel, gel, acrylic, and a lot more!! But i heard you say that you have to work fast bc the acrylic will dry. Actually I thought the same thing till i did some thinking and i thought to use more monomer so i can work with one bead longer and it totally works!! Js dont douse it but you still wnat to see some monomer dripping from your brush but js not a lot. This has helped me a ton and made it so i dont have to file as much!! Also this tip is directed to everyone not just katelyn she js mentioned it!! Keep it up katelyn!! Also you can use a colored pencil to pick up rhinestones as long as the bottom is flat. And also put the rhinestone glue around the area you are putting the rhinestones and even uf you dont cover it all with rhinestones its no big deal!!

Answer to healthy nails: Hi! I am DEFINITELY not a professional, heck I am only 11, but I have seen a lot of nail vids and how to help your nails is to take a nail break and apply cuticle oil to your nails not just your cuticles 2 or more times a day and I have seen actual professionals say to have a long break like a week or 2 but if you don’t want to just do like a couple days and ad a top coat/strengthener but only do 1 time of oil if you do use a strengthening polish 😅❤ I hope this helps and be careful with your beautiful nails I love all your designs Also my fav color for my nails is light pinks or light glittery pinks also magenta❤❤❤😂😅😊
