How to do an Oil change on a 2020 Raptor 700r

In this video we'll show you step by step how to do an oil change on a 2020 Yamaha raptor 700r. Dont take it to a shop, save some money doing it yourself.

Yes it is necessary to put oil in case, thats what the service manual tells you. Lacking proper lubrication, all the metal components in the engine rub against each other, causing an icredible amount of premature wear.

Well on a 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 manual they all say to fill the tank up with 1.3L. Start up engine. Rev multiple times. The turn off and fill tanks to desired height.

15-50 sorry .. when I got mine (2020 700r) they told me to use 10-40

We used 15w50 full synthetic oil because is a better oil for hi-performance engines. And it handles higher RPM and heat. Yamaha recommends 10w40 oil but also 15w50 full synthetic

Weird that people all over youtube put oil in the engine? The genuine Yamaha manual below tells you to fill it from just the oil tank…… Install the crankcase engine oil drain bolt and the engine oil tank drain bolt, and then tighten them to the specified torques.Tightening torques:Crankcase engine oil drain bolt:23 Nm (2.3 m·kgf, 16.6 ft·lbf)Engine oil tank drain bolt:19 Nm (1.9 m·kgf, 13.7 ft·lbf)12. Install the engine oil filler cap, and then tightenit to the specified torque.Tightening torque:Engine oil filler cap:12 Nm (1.2 m·kgf,8.7 ft·lbf)13. Pour only 1.3 L (1.37 US qt, 1.16 Imp.qt) of thespecified amount of the recommended engineoil through the engine oil tank filler hole, and then install and tighten the oil tank filler cap.14. Start the engine, rev it several times, and thenturn it off.15. Remove the engine oil tank filler cap, and thengradually fill the oil tank with the remaining oil quantity while regularly checking the oil level on the dipstick.
