Front sprocket cover: 5mm Alan Front big Nutt : 36mm put on 2nd gear and push lock Nutt with flat head and fishing pushing all the way back with 36mm Rear Sprocket: loosen bolts 🔩8mm Alan key + 14mm socket on tire 14mm socket loosen bolt 🔩 on sprocket 5mm socket, do these steps while tire are on ground Next is taking chain off by filling down chain clamp 🗜️ and popping it off with a flat head screw 🪛 . And must put N gear ⚙️ Jack up on axel extension , then roll chain off Take bolts 🔩 off rear sprocket and wiggle to take off your Rear Bar Axel Front sprocket take off if needing to change and out antiC around body lip location if frt sprocket to keep less heat while riding. Please clean access of waisted AntiC on the Drive Shaft Put sprocket on its teeth could be between a 13 or 12 teeth Torque 61 Ft Pound Rear sprocket stock: 38 used for speed But you can put a 42 on it: more used for torque On rear sprocket while assembly use BLUE Lock Tight jell on the bolt to secure your 🔩 bolts Rear bolt tighten takes a 52 foot Torque After putting rear sprocket Chain length should be 520/100. But recommendation is 520/98 Putting the chain on you should start from back bottom roll on rear sprocket to front sprocket, super easy guys Don't forget to put the small packet lube into the clamp hole on the chain ⛓️ itself and on the Master Link 🖇️ too Please don't forget to put the WASHERS on the link and add lubricant Roundside of your chain link 🖇️ plate cover 📔 to face forward towards Front sprocket This will cause the plate to flip over incase chain get caught in to something and chain would easily comes off By A&O Moto Sport Design

I went with a 13T front sprocket and a 40T rear sprocket. The chain is a X ring as well. It’s holding up exceptionally well!

Do you have a power Commander on it? If so how is it you losing top speed like that. I have a power jet 5 and I am changing my sprocket this week. We just going to remapping and turn up the I will commander.

With this set up you’ll definitely loose something off the top end. The flip side is it’s pretty snappy on the low end. I figured I’d never do a top speed run and I love to rip corners and ride wheelies so this set up is perfect for me.

Anti seize prevents bolts or threads from being rusted together, has nothing to do with heat and melting items. Just letting you know

Hey man what is the difference in performance, I might do the same only if there is a noticeable difference as I don't want to focus on top speed as well. Iv got a raptor 700r 2021. It has heaps of torque im willing to trade top speed for more torque. Please let me know how it goes. Ps good video.
@quadkong5846
@quadkong5846 2 жыл бұрын
There was a noticeable difference on the low end. I can pick it up from a standstill in second gear with no clutch now. It’s not bad at all. I can tell it lost a little on the top end but nothing crazy.

So smaller sprocket gives lower toque but higher end speeds? or I'm I backwards? I just got a 22 RAPTOR 700 and barley touching the throttle it wants to take off.
@quadkong5846
@quadkong5846 2 жыл бұрын
Traditionally a smaller front sprocket or a larger rear sprocket will boost torque and lower top end speed. That’s why you see stunt mikes with those HUGE rear sprockets because it pops the front end up way easier. I like hitting a wheelie every now and again so this upgrade helped out quite a bit.

Quick question my boy , does this kit make the bike move a lot faster ?
@quadkong5846
@quadkong5846 Жыл бұрын
I wouldn’t say FASTER. Quicker for sure. It lowers your top speed but you gain a pretty good low end torque bump. Pretty useful if you’re the type that likes the front end light to come out of a corner or ride a wheelie.

Is your top speed lower cause you went down with the sprockets
@quadkong5846
@quadkong5846 Жыл бұрын
Yea it dropped quite a bit but I gained a bit of lower end torque. That’s what I was going for. If you want to improve top speed I’d suggest going the opposite direction with sprockets. Possibly going one up in the front or dropping a couple teeth in the back. Any more than that your torque will suffer severely.

Do you need to change the chain ?
@quadkong5846
@quadkong5846 2 жыл бұрын
You don’t HAVE to, but it is HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended. It’s best to change the chain whenever you change sprockets to prevent premature or uneven wear of the sprockets. Especially if you’re jumping to an aluminum gear.

It’s better to up the rear sprocket 1 tooth as you don’t really take a top speed hit and you still gain low end

What size tires front and rear??
@quadkong5846
@quadkong5846 2 жыл бұрын
I’m running 22x7’s in the front and 20x11’s in the rear. Rears are a little heavier but it really helps with shock absorption on long rides. I wouldn’t race em but if you’re just looking to have fun the ITP Holeshot-HD’s are legit.

@@Dtownaero Yea if you’re looking to boost clearance that 22 from and 20x10 in the back helps a little without messing with your suspension. And they’re really notchy so no only are you gaining precious inches in height. You’re gaining traction as well.
