Thank you so much for putting these all into one video, I’ve been looking for so many of these things like the RAR, wavebounce, and the dash attack cancel Two things that helped me out a lot by the way: if you run up to a ledge, stop quickly and hold up, then do a semicircle down, you'll drop directly to ledge if you do it right. It makes it really easy to go down to edgeguard and ledge trump The other one is when you start dashing, if you want to shield just keep holding forward and you'll pull shield up a lot faster than if you were to stop moving and start shielding

My first tech I discovered by accident was the instant dash attack. I'm awful at pressing up without jumping, so up tilts were impossible. I switched the smash stick to tilt as well when I went to turn of left stick jump. First time I went to run and attack at the same time with the new stick input, I dashed attacked and realized there had to be more to the c stick stuff. Thank you for this video

Wavedashing has some specific uses. Rosalina could cancel her dash attack into a nair but the nair could also be canceld into a wavedash so that luma can be desynced from rosalina temporarily without rosalina having to detether luma which has a lot of uses

First technique I learned on this list was Wave Dashing back in the Melee days. Luigi could slide the length of any stage, and it was less laggy. A backwards wavedash put people in perfect range for a Samus pistol whip 💪

The first thing I learned was B reverse (and short hop aerials if you count that). I'm still having a lot of trouble consistently RARing in full speed games. I can do the command just not always land the attack. Smash is the only fighting game of any kind I've been really invested in and it is hard to get decent at.

so this i would say is very advanced but im a sheik main so i learned sometimes its ok if you get hit off but what you can do is first throw a grenade with side b so stop ledge guarding, then if there is a wall with collision to cling to it, then no matter if theres a wall or not you use the recovery move to get to the ledge because you threw a grenade there and if you dont need to go that far go to the fish move thing, and if your launched up go to the edge part of the stage and tilt the control stick into the direction of the rest of it and hit down b to spike, if you do it right you can hit the opponent to start the combos

I'm not sure if its a known tech or not, i've never seen anyone do it for now but you can b reverse with roy or chrom on the ground and you slide quite a bit. I've manage to catch some rolls that way. You have to be in the running animation to cancel the turnaround. The tech is like this : run forward, hit back with left stick to start turnaround animation, do a neutral b, and go forward. To do it consistently i hit forward, then just go halfway back with the stick to start the turnaround and while i start to go forward again i hit b while the stick goes through neutral position.

I don’s know if this is advanced or not but I have learned how to predict when somebody is going to use a move without sound. I always have my volume off. I also have learned to combo Shulk’s Forward Air into a Forward Smash while in any Monado Art except Speed and Jump or without one active. It can do massive damage or be a kill confirm if you time it right. However it is not safe on shield but can be safe if spaced properly against certain opponent’s. I have also learned how to attack cancel my aerials using Shulk which took some time. Fast Falling is another. Pivot Grabbing I apparently already knew how to do before I knew that it was a term. Apparently a lot of the techniques I use are considered advanced ones which I did not know were considered advanced.
