I miss the days of the Ryzen 5 1600 AF + RX 570 build coming in under $600 with an SSD and 16 gigs of DDR4 3200 RAM - that thing could basically power through anything on 1080p high/medium - I wonder what it can do now with FSR!?

What case Did you use?

I used the Antec NX410. As of right now, it isn't the cheapest case anymore but, I thought it was pretty high quality at the time.

The gamaxx 400 is essentially the new 212 in canada. I do not know about other reagons. Its almost all the cooler you need right now. I do wonder if it can take a modern i5 to about as far as you want. I do not know where you are located but using ebay definitely limited your perf per $. Compared to kijiji or fb marketplace if closer to a city. Even aliexpress has become noticeably cheeper recently. I never used to bother as I perferd ebay up to 2 years ago. I do highly recommend refrencing the Psu tier list on ltt fourms And U/NewMaxx s ssd buing guide on reddit There is alot of similary priced options that vary in quality and speed vastly in those two fields and are easy traps to fall for.

It sucks they discontinued and replaced the gamaxx 400 recently. But I agree! It basically is the new 212. I honestly want to redo this video in the near future and try to a more modern i5. I will check out your references once I get this new video out in the coming week or two. Cheers!

@@BudgetBin i haven't looked for a cooler recently that is very unfortunate with the gammax 400. Apperentaly the ltt psu guide moved to cultists network I am interested to see what you come up with for a new build when you do that. There are some amazing deals out there right now 👍

omg... I had better performance for $500 in 2013, all new components. Cpu: i5 4570 Ram: 8gb ddr3 1T Hdd Seasonic PSU 620W Zalman Case UD3 but what makes the difference is HD 7870 XT which is way better than Rx 460
