just another tip for people if you want correct technique, is that when you jump, make sure your elbows are together, before you put your arms up, and make sure that when you bring your arms down, they are still together until they get to just below your chin. also if you can help it, try to keep your chest up, as your jumps will look so much cleanerrrr. i hope that was explained ok because i dont explain things very well, but i hope that in quarantine your all practicingggg!! :) xx

I would LOVE to see some of your stretching routines/workout routines, more legs/jump height techniques, stretches, etc. And tips to help her with the front walk over she’s struggling when it comes time to stand up from the walkover... Really any strength and conditioning routines that you like... I would love to see all of those things.. If you have the time to make a few more vids?! Thanks again for the content!

i’m only just starting cheer (never done it before ever) but i’ve done synchronized swimming for about three years or so and you really don’t need to be super flexible to do any of these jumps. we would do these as warm ups for flyers and bases on lifts and i was able to do these before i got my splits. just stretch yourself out a bit and warm up and you should be fine

Hey! Be on the lookout for my next video because it will be about gaining confidence and what it can do for you! I would say for now is when you explain/teach something to others you should do three things 1. Know what you are talking about/don’t give false information. So in this case just tell people the keys to doing good jumps (use this video to help you ;) ) 2. DONT APOLOGIZE what I mean by this is understand that I promise your jumps are not as bad as you think they are! You need to have confidence and know that you know what you are talking about! And 3. (A little contradictory to #2 but ) know that you probably don’t know everything/ don’t be patronizing (which of course you are not at all just wanted to put that in there. I have so so many tips about coaching others but I really hoped this helped. Let me know if you have any other questions and KEEP WORKING!
