Monaco has lots of parks. Just buy a baguette sandwich at local shops and a drink and have lunch for less than 10 EU at the park. That will save you $$. Also, pay honor and respects to Princess Grace Kelly at the Cathedral in the Palace area. On her tomb it reads "Gratia Patricia" Latin for "Grace Patricia, so don't miss it. It's free and a lovely way to give a bit more meaning to your time in Monaco

Actually even though the narrator of the museum tour says "Mon-AH-coh" when the prince himself, Prince Albert, speaks in the same recording he puts stress on the first syllable as we usually do -- "MON - ah - coh". I will go with the Prince's pronunciation -- which is the commonly-known pronunciation. Great video thanks.

Not sure but in the clip of the journey on the bus the sea is on the right so I assume taveling from Nice(on previous trips have taken both bus and train from Menton and would prefer train). I returned from a 10 days visiting stepdaughter who lives there yesterday and can confirm that it is still easy to do Monaco on the cheap, everyday thousands of workers stream in from France and Italy so lots of supermarkets/ outlets for them and us to use. A pint of draught lager was 7euros in local British bar which I was told by the locals was about the norm(or only a little high higher) for South of France. Not sure of accomodation as we were put up by family but loads of places to stay nearby.

Mc Donalds in France are way more healthy than in the US, no GMO, real raise French beef (controlled fat%) same for veggies. Not the best food, but do the job on a budget, for the same price you can have a fresh made sandwich and a soft drink up to you.
