Yes it works and you can switch back and forth as you need to, I do daily I stay on auto if I need to do pVp for dailies or anything, as soon as I'm done I switch down to 800 for peace and quiet lol Won't affect any other game, but remember to switch it back to auto if you want to upload or anything because it sometimes fails otherwise

Just for future reference, editing your own connection settings wont interfere with other people's connections, this is only true if messing with settings straight from your router (online)

No, this allows you go into red dead lobbies by yourself. Basically red dead has no private lobbies option. So setting up the MTU to 800 allows you to play online and still do all the activities without having to worry about trolls.

@@spongebobsquarepants101 not in my experience, but I never tested trying to play with friends so I'm not sure how that works out. But no I don't experience consistent or freezing although I did notice sometimes I disconnected from the server randomly, but I think that was more red dead jank with their servers, not your ps4.

@@VvV-tn7mq dude lately everytime i use 800 mtu , it works for gta online but after 3 to 5 days i cant access rockstar's servers , both games rdr2 and gta online (they have the same servers) , where i have to call my isp to fix it , happened 5 times last month , do you think they are doing that on purpose? like from rockstars end?
