orcane can also do it with neutral b, specials in this game tend to carry momentum universally. it's just a matter if a move leaves you actionable for conversions or if youre able to consistently get momentum before doing it or not

Thank you for your service. The average Ranno that watched this video just got worse from the fact they'll be spamming missed needle boost for the next 2 weeks. Also I'm seeing a lot of needle boosts not cancelling the charge and just letting the needles go. Is that better in this game compared to R1?

anytime. and for letting the needles rip, both options are good. depends on how you want to follow them, i used the needle rip method just for example

@@quarium5681 pomme could also do this in rivals 1 lol, it still wqsnt super applicable from what i understand of the character. Pommes offstage presence and the ability to find combos from throwing notes from the ledge is insane

@@carlschrappen9712 use your best judgement. Needleboost can be used as a way to checkmate people offstage when they dont have resources to recover with, or as a mixup to call out someones recovery route hard. All bad needleboost exist in himdsight, amd all good meedleboosts are ones you hit

Do people not realize that shield dropping does something pretty similar but its easier to use and is more versatile? I mean this is nice to have as well. But like im not even seeing people shielddrop for movement at all
