I have used the back to back join for years but have never measured it out like this. Fantastic and I will be using this in my future knitting. I have been knitting for over 65 years and am still enjoying finding new ways to do things. Thanks so much for you great videos!!!!!!!

Excellent. And timely, as I need to start a new skein this morning. It will work for that, too.

I found this video just in time when I was thinking of how to start colorwork on a striped sweater I'm thinking about. The youtube algorithm is mysterious.

Wow. Would u use the Intarsia method when doing a different colour border on a baby blanket Norman? Every row has the first 20 stitches and last 20 stitches in an alternate colour….w the body of the blanket the main colour, so I want to keep running lines at each end of the row for outside trim colour and not add on later…thank you! You’ve taught me SO MUCH! U are an EXCELLENT teacher. Cheers from Toronto. 🧡

for a blanket? I would typically pick up stitches and knit a border after I finished the center. Yes, you could do it with intarsia but I am not sure if that's a bit to cumbersome with such a big project.

when i knit with circural needle , how i can make the work streight with 2 colours ?
@nimbleneedlestwo3 жыл бұрын
not sure I understand your question? why would there be a difference between circular or straight needles as long as you knit flat?
@theastewart67213 жыл бұрын
Fascinating! Question: Are you knitting 3 or 4 stitches backwards or tinking those stitches? Thanks!
@NimbleNeedles3 жыл бұрын
Depends on the fabric, really
