Great video. I like the way you explain things. Would have liked to have seen you do a couple throws while counting out the rhythm. Thanks for the lesson. Thanks for posting. Very helpful.

Your left foot sure seems like it is pointed way away from the target (3:04). Is this proper?

It depends. I think I’m turning my hips around too much (something I’m currently working on), but I have seen pros with their back foot pointed back a little bit. It think it comes down to what is comfortable and natural.

@@GladiatorDiscGolf That is the fun part about learning... talk to three teachers and get three different answers :) Not saying any of them are wrong per se, you gotta kinda figure out what works best for you, but it can be a bit frustrating working through it the first time. I have a hard time pointing my toes forward, so I may relax my standard a bit on this.

Great its just not me that have that 7 a clock angle on the rear foot and spinn it anti clockwise after shifting then clockwise. I guess thats the right thing to do right? Tho i do see alot of pros have that foot angled at 8-9 and spinning it clockwise the rest of the motion.

This is actually something I’ve been working on improving in my game. I’m trying to do more of an 8 or 9 o’clock step.

@@GladiatorDiscGolf aha ok, any tip? Doesnt seem matter what angle my foot is, it allways turn to 7 when pushing the hip forward. But i guess its not the end of the world when players like Seppo Paju does the same and throw 550+ :-)

A lot of it deals with comfort and the way your body works. There’s no one way to do anything right, but we can look at the consistencies in all forms. Most players are between 7 and 9. I would say try some different foot placements and see what works for you!

Definitely! It's so important and underappreciated.
