Thank you so much for all your tips. My question is: How you put the cake inside the box? The box is close the 4 sides, so you certainly don't slide the cake inside. So, how? By the top? Did I miss something?

Would you go as far as giving your customer detailed instructions on how to transport the cake, if they are collecting? I have heard of people doing this, but it's a bit hard for me to imagine all the things that can go wrong on the journey, as I don't drive myself!

If customers picking up such size cake I let sign a 'received in good condition' document and I do my best to explain what to do. I do not remember any crazy customer would dare to take the responsibility just to save transport cost less than 5% extra
