In this video I play the new EU4 DLC days before its release. We are looking at 1 of the two mission trees that England has in this new upcoming DLC forming the Angevin Kingdom after restoring the union over France.
In this DLC, England has two options, either become Great Britian and focus on colonization, new world and India OR focusing on Europe, restoring the Personal Union over France and forming the Angevin Kingdom. In this video I focus on the Angevin Kingdom focus, one where we play and rule over Europe and eventually become Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire.
This new mission tree takes us across Western Europe, first getting the throne of France through the hundred years war, then giving us claims across Iberia, Italy and the HRE.

One thing I'm curious to test out once the game releases, is that with the "Kingdom of Spain" parliamentary decision, I believe you only need to have 10 provinces in Iberia, so technically you could just conquer those, and then cuck over Castile, by releasing Spain as a PU before they reach admin tech 10, meaning they can no longer form them, but you still get all of their cores for your subject. I assume thats the main usefulness of that decision.

Just tested this, and the Spain released through parliamentary vote does not gain any cores. You do gain perma claims on Iberia, and can use those to feed your tiny Spain

Pro tip to anyone trying to do this now that the patch is out: If France ends up with too many provinces for whatever reason, you can release Gascony from your lands and use favors to get France to give Gascony's cores back to them, hopefully getting them under 25 without having to lose a war and give away their land then conquer it yourself

I played an entire campgain as the angevins and I can say, this is my favorite nation to play now, the snoball potential is astonishing after you win the 100 years war, probably the easiest nation to form rome as now because of the amount of pu's you can get. The only prob is that you don't get reconquest CBS from pu's
