Great tutorial Spencer. Like being in the room with a pro. You provide more of the little tricks and considerations than any other video I have seen. This knowledge is the difference between a good and not so good first try. Thanks.

You made a great point about the bedding. I was going to invest in some Steve Boggess tape but I was thinking the same thing you mentioned: will it affect how my seams join, since the wallpaper is now slightly raised with the bedding underneath. I'm still questioning should I try it.

I have it and I do use it. It’s worh it. Not for stiff wolf Gordon. But for vinyl it’s awesome

I'm installing wall covering for the very first time next week. I'm a painting contractor and have been painting for 25 years. This will be my first time. I'm nervous because the material is $900 alone. It's innovations "gilded cork". Its going over a primed wall. The directions state to apply the glue to the back of the paper. Any pointers you have please help. The wall is 14' wife by 9' high. Commercial install. Thanks and I appreciate your videos!

Yes. I do. I just installed cork. Don’t sweat it. I will add to this later. I’m driving home.
What is the name and company of the wallpaper you are installing?

Please get a 3 foot cutting edge, it would take me 30 seconds to make that cut and move to the next seam. Hang the wall, make the cuts move on.

What you don’t understand is that I have a channel that makes money from teaching; I am not here to go fast, and even if I were, I would take out the relic of my 3 foot cutting edge as you suggested, which is in my truck and I would use it but I don’t like it. You have to realise that what works for you, even though you learned it in a classroom, doesn’t work for everyone else and that is why I have my channel because it is the mentality like yours that makes do-it-yourselfers feel like they cant do it because they cannot conform to conventions established by minds like you.

You should use single blade razors instead of those shit plastic knives, if you're concerned about mistakes
@rorybellamy25333 жыл бұрын
low quality tools , buy a Olfa quality razor knife and blades, wallpaper hangers are a weird bunch, do not take this as a good lesson, very easy to get a new blade half way down , this is not exactly how you do it . yes he has done this once or twice
