Next time I will try this. I always knew there was a way to explain this short and simple and not in 15 Minutes, so you can put thousands of ads in it 💕 Thank you

This is the best drop in tutorial I’ve found! I’ve skated inline my entire life, and just got a Bont Parkstar setup with Bont grind trucks and their slide block about a week ago, on my inlines, I can only drop in while jumping, but can’t quite nail that on the quads. I can’t wait to get out to the park this week and start working on this method! Thanks so much for creating these videos, you’re so amazing :)))

Thank you! I have an updated one which is a single pivot drop in which may be helpful too. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hGm4g6Z_a7eWfqs

Such concise tutorials! Would you be able to get into different types of drop ins as well? I keep seeing very creative ones but cant even find a name for them, much less a tutorial. This is such great content!

Very helpful thank you! Been looking for a simple tutorial and this hit the spot :3 great to see you do it without blocks as well, as I haven't made that investment yet!

Fantastic tips here! I really like your teaching style, and the way you break concepts down so succinctly. I'll be sharing this with my park crew for some of our newer members to benefit from. Thanks for the awesome content!!

Awesome video! Wondering if you have any opinions on jumping in? I’ve been trying to learn other ways but nothing feels half as comfortable or natural as jumping, but other skaters have been telling me it’s not a good way to do it so I’m a bit confused!
@ShortysSkateSeries3 жыл бұрын
It depends. If you prefer jumping in then go for it, but just understand the risks and when you have more vert in a ramp, the more you have to commit to getting your body in the right position which will pretty much be horizontal. I see my blading friends jump in all the time, they prefer it. But they do have a longer skate base so are more stable in general.

Thank you so much for this! So clear and helpful! Also, I don't have grind block and was wondering if I could try and drop in without them while watching. Was about to ask you in the comments, but you've also covered this! THANKS

Yes you can, but you just have to be comfortable in lifting your heels as you go over the coping

I have bont parkstars in size 10.5 and the tracer derby plate, Im having trouble finding the proper hanger size for a grind block they seem to only stop at size 7 but since I'm a guy and have bigger feet the space between my wheels is bigger😅 I can't seem to find any that fit
@ShortysSkateSeries3 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry I don't really know. I have quite tiny feet. You might want to contact a brand that does custom blocks. I think Bigfoot Blocks does customs.

Is it easier to sit drop in or drop in standing up as a beginner? I'm not sure which one I should try because I'm intimidated by the height and the coping... I'm perfectly fine with ramps and pumping
@ShortysSkateSeries3 жыл бұрын
If it's a small ramp it's easier to drop in standing up. Once you get to ramps higher than yourself or they have vert then that's when it gets to sit drop in to build up the confidence to stand drop in. I would start slow and work on practicing the correct form on an incline ramp if the coping is intimidated. Focus on making sure your weight transfers into the ramp.

Can i try this on a small ramp?

I drop in like this too, otherwise I stress about which foot I'm putting in front lol
