As a shopper I usually am turned off when prices are not clearly listed. I went to an event last weekend and a booth had a sign that said “ask for prices”. As more of an introvert I would steer away from those types of buying situations.

Oh yes definitely! It’s always best to have your prices listed in multiple spots! Sometimes people still don’t see it though even if it’s right in front of their faces so they still ask 😅

Found out towards the end once we got the flow of stuff that we could've held back on upselling and when to down sell towards the end of event but overall I was very pleased for my first event. Glad to hear this as confirmation for my next event. Def know what to do next time

After watching you, Black Tie Barn and a couple other channels for the last 6 months during testing and getting the product down my daughter(16 yo), I had our first event. It was a cheap $20 booth fee at a small event in a small town of about 9,000 people. I wasn't expecting much our first time out. Set a goal for just $100. That would have given us at least a decent margin and made the event worth it. We almost doubled it. Shockingly it was primarily our sprays and wax melts. Very few candles sold, but it was a great start and I used your tip in another video suggesting a bogo type of deal and it certainly helped.

We put them in little gift boxes and then put those into totes and carry them to our booth spot!
