Hey so i keep getting redirected to WinRAR-- how else can i open this? I am not sure what else to open this with -- I keep getting told to choose which client to open it through, and i keep getting thrown in circles. Should I extract the folder? should i somehow open it through something else? Please let me know, I've followed the rest of the steps prior-- i am just stuck on trying to actually open the forge folder.

is it the resource pack? what part are you having trouble with? Maybe you are talking about the zipped folder of both the resource pack and mod? then you're gonna extract it to make em separate cuz they're going into different places.

Uhmm may I know your computer's RAM? Sometimes RAM can't handle a lot of mods, so we should have atleast 4GB RAM or 6GB to run it smoothly

@@Sashwie oh actually i figured out the problem- you said somewhere in the video that before downloading we have to specifically follow through the same ones you download- my dummy brain didnt listen and downloaded the wrong one so it kept crashing the game before it could even open🥲

I think you have to scroll all the way down to see the 1.12.2 version, and both mod and RP are there.

Maybe try to lower the quality? You can adjust anything when you have optifine. If you also have shaders, try to adjust it too or remove it

I think you can try on the settings, there's a setting for lighting. When u get on the setting look for the quality then you'll find lighting and it says minimum maximum, something like that, and u want to set it on minimum. If that isn't fixed, adjust the thing under that all the way to 1

I'm using v.7.1.03.2 Idkk why there's a lot of numbers xD, but I'm customizing bsl so that it wouldn't be so laggy. You can go to the settings and just adjust some things there, I hope that will help!
