How to DPS/Parse as a ROGUE in AQ40 (Early Phase Guide)

This guide isn't anything revolutionary. It's moreso breaking down current trends and best practices for each fight as we are so early on in the phase...but I figured I would put a little something that you may want to use when min-maxing. So here it is... on the Ouro fight you can use your vanish to batch one of his knockbacks. It works to help in two ways, you get more uptime fighting the boss because you don't have to run back, AND you full drop all your previous threat, so you can utilize it on one of the middle knockbacks in the fight for most effectiveness! tldr: get world buffs have a raid that clears within world buffs time have crit luck dont use kidney to stun at bosses and dont rupt well done. classic dps guides in 5 seconds...

@@ryanvance1767 well the world buff shit is one thing that pisses me off. the other are those youtubers still pretending that classic is difficult while putting out "boss guides" which are 10 minutes long. those bosses have 1-2 mechanics. this can be explained to a monkey within 30 seconds, but still those guyspretend that they are super smart... same with the rogue videos of that guy. i have literally no clue when it started to pop in my "reccomended for you" section on youtube, but since then nearly every video starts with "hey guys blabla youtuber XYZ made already a video about it but i give you "my" thoughts on it as well" this guy takes the work of others and pretends he has new informations, which he hasnt in most cases. i´m just sick of all those people thinking vanilla has to be min-maxed in every single way. they play a fucking 15 yrs old game which could be completed by a monkey. if they want to play real progress and go for world first kills, go play retail. but every "world first vanilla kill" is simply not a world first vanilla kill, since all bosses had been defeated 15 years ago ....

didnt mention that huhuran and twins are immune to poisons meaning crit stones are bis for them if you wanna parse.

Should you be running dark mantle over full T2 if you don’t have world buffs also? For combat sword spec

In the nonworld buff meta its something you would have to test. In some of the logs, I have seen T2 do a lot of damage in some encounters. I'm not sure whats the difference in AP between DM and T2.

According to Roguecraft sims, dark mantle needs to proc at least twice to have more dps than full T2. Given that it procs a lot I’d go with dark mantle.

Honestly it was kinda unfortunate that some servers got to get a clear in and another with DMF before some servers even opened gates. There’s going to be that advantage for a while until next DMF.

Ryan Vance That goes against the idea and culture of parsing well. Generally people want to get as buffed as possible to do the most damage. If you’re competing for parses in the no world buffs category then I’m kinda confused on your logic.
