@@Danielle satin and muslin are too stiff to drape a silk dress, charmeuse lays very differently when it’s on the body so it is best to drape with it or u can use a poly charmeuse for a cheaper alternative.

Please could you elaborate what you meant by 'don't cut bias on the fold'? 🙂 I didn't really understand the explanation after it.

Yes, bias fabric should never be cut on the fold, you only cut the paper pattern on the fold so you end up with one big pattern piece that will be lined up on to the bias line of your fabric. I will be demonstrating next week how to cut bias fabric and sew with it!

Usually, people use a cheaper but similar material to save on costs but you can utilize the exact same fabric.
