This tutorial is very helpful for my school art assignment. I really suck at drawing but i still took art class to give it a try. Everyone told me my jellyfish drawing was really beautiful and it boosted my confidence and i got a really high score too. The shading method in this video definitely made my drawing 10x better

Hey do u think it was easy or did u mess us a lot ? I’m in 6th grade art competing for a contest but not that good and want to find some easy stuff
@leenapingu63194 ай бұрын
@@Rblox.Movies it took me around three days to finish it because i was rlly busy with other things. I cant really say its that easy but all it needed are a lot of shadows readjusting and concentration. I hope your competition went well and if not theres always another time. Im sorry for replying so late as well

Thank you sooooo much for this. I always get so confused when it comes to the tentacles. Theyre so frilly and complex, i thought i had to figure out exactly where all the lines and sutures went and how they played into eachother. Now i see how much i was overthinking it instead of... going with the flow.. haha. Thank you so much, youre a very talented artist and its just amazing that youre taking the time to teach everyone these techniques. Thank you again, fr

One request I would have is if you could include a brief amount of realtime drawing because I'm always fascinated and often not able to replicate certain textures which makes me think that seeing you do it real time might be beneficial. Wow!! That's incredible. It looks so hyper-realistic, Subscribed! I'm studying Architecture and there's not much free style drawing involved and I'm more arty than being restricted to straight lines. Darlin'est Chris ~ as you know, I've been a fan for quite some time. I'm especially fond of your pencil drawing tutorials, as this is my favorite medium. I wanted to take a moment to share a revelation with you: when I first started watching, I wasn't particularly thrilled with the "speed drawing" aspect. I wanted to see you work in "real time" so as to facilitate my own "beginner's eye". Now, though, after my own (ongoing) evolution, I must tell you that I'm very happy that you don't do these in real time. BECAUSE, I think it would bore me AND because now I prefer to HEAR your instruction whilst I watch. Sometimes I re-watch several times. Other times, just once and then on to my pencils. Isn't it wonderful how, even when we don't realize it, we are actually progressing? You, fine Sir, are a MASTER artist and teacher. I hope you will continue to avail us with your splendid work/tutelage. You make an enormous difference in my world. Thank you, again, for your heart.

I love the jellyfish! I don't know how you get such dark areas, I would love to see that slowed down at some point - I'm trying with an Alvin Draftmatic HB .7mm and my darkest lines/shading still look gray to me, but your darkest areas look black. Would love a more 'technique' focused video so I can see what I'm doing wrong, I think it's me and not my equipment! :)
