Bro I first found your channel about 10 years ago I was in high school and I learned a lot from your videos, then I got too busy to watch tutorials, and now this is the first notification in years after I re-enabled youtube notifications. I'm glad you still make videos.

It’s been like 10 years since I last saw a video from you. You helped me tremendously when I was in highschool to become a better anime artist and I spent hours studying your videos and even have a few art videos on my channel. Unfortunately I don’t draw anymore but I just wanted to stop by and say, thank you for being a part of my childhood 🙏🏾

I still remember years ago when I first saw your dragon head tutorial. I stayed up late on a school night and drew the best drawing I had ever made at the time. I learned so much from these videos and continue to draw to this day. For old times sake I decided to draw this owl and I’m shocked at how far I’ve come. Thank you mark for all the lessons, the book I bought and most of all showing me the wonders of the trusty black prismacolor.

I literally haven’t watched a video of yours in years. I remember buying some of your mangas back in the day. But today I get this recommendation randomly, now a 3rd year in college art student, and working on a project where I’m having trouble making an owl

I have always been cursed with the inability to draw a stick figure let alone an owl. I picked up some pencils the other day and tried drawing an owl with no reference and it was terrible lol! But I decided to sit down tonight and give it a try again this time I found a good mentor, you.I spent about 3 hours on this drawing and I cant believe I'm the one who drew it. It's beautiful...! I'll be doing this again soon. Imma try once a week. Thank you for helping be an artist :) Liked and Subscribed
