I love your tutorials; you are a really good teacher. I want to learn more about using these brushes. Could you please do something with more color such as a bouquet of flowers. I am having a hard time getting my colors to look good. All the tutorials I have seen you do with the Aqua Real brushes have been browns and grays. Thank you for these excellent tutorials.

Loved this but sadly I don't have enough layers with my iPad so will have to do it on regular paper , next go round.
@Lisaglanz2 жыл бұрын
So glad you enjoyed that! If you're running out of layers, you can either flatten the layers as you go once you're happy with them, or you can use a smaller size canvas which will increase the amount of layers available to you. When I had a smaller iPad, I would paint until I ran out of layers, then duplicated the doc, flattened the layers I was happy with in the duplicate to then free-up more layers. That way I would still retain the layers in each phase should I ever want to go back at a later stage to make changes. Hope that helps!

Hi Lisa ! Love your work, I’ve bought some of your products and they’re awesome. 🥰 have you ever considered making these awesome paper textures as brushes ? It would be fantastic to be able to use a clipping mask and paint the paper texture only above the design… 😊
@Lisaglanz Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for being a customer! I really appreciate it xxx I'd love to convert the textures and canvas effects to brushes, the only problem is that some of the textures need to be set to a certain blend mode in order to work and having them as brushes could cause user confusion and issues. But if you're looking to retain the texture on your drawing only and not on the background, for example, I have a tutorial that shows how to do that, especially if you want a transparent background, not sure if you've seen that one: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l2q7p3x4l9mahMU

Another great tutorial. One question, the canvases are so large is there a way to resize them while still maintaining the paper texture and effects? Just going into the crop and resize makes the canvas look all wonky lol.
@Lisaglanz3 жыл бұрын
Hi Donna, yes definitely! It sounds like you may not have Resample Canvas turned on when you're resizing, this will scale things down proportionally and retain all the texture at the right scale. So once you're in the resize menu area, make sure your Resample Canvas in on before you type in your new size. Hope that helps! If you have any other questions at all, please don't hesitate to let me know.

Hi I bought the character building kit and brushes. Do you offer the textured papers? Or canvas. Also do you share the color pallets you use? Thanks
@Lisaglanz3 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for your purchase, it's much appreciated! The canvas from this particular tutorial is included in the AquaReal watercolour brush collection (it includes three different pre-made canvases). I also have a paper texture pack that includes A3 and 12 x 12 jpeg files you could import into Procreate to use as a paper texture, you can find that here: www.lisaglanz.com/shop/seamless-paper-textures/ In my AquaReal and Plush Pencil brush packs I include several colour pallets. I also have a few Playful Palettes on my blog: www.lisaglanz.com/blog/category/playful-palette/ Hope that helps!

Hi Lisa, I bought brushes from you and the other products are great. I'm just trying to paint with them according to your video and they only allow me 4 layers in which I can draw. When I have canava from you. Why is it? Thank you very much for the advice.
@Lisaglanz3 жыл бұрын
Hi Tereza, Thank you so much for your purchase, it's much appreciated! The reason you're seeing less layers available to you is related to your iPads size and capabilities. There are a few ways around that, the easiest would be to resize the canvas down to a smaller size (make sure you have "resample canvas" on when scaling down to retain the proportion/ratio of your canvas). Or you can paint in stages and keep duplicating your canvas, flatten then continue. That way is a little tedious but if you have a smaller iPad and you still want to be able to product large artwork that definitely also works. Hope that helps! You can always email me at help@lisaglanz.com if you have more questions.
