Thanks Michelle, will give this a try, I know your process is almost all the same, but for some reason it just doesn’t stick with me unless you’re telling me to do it, I think that’s for all the artists I like to watch. I’m still amazed you self taught yourself how to draw too. I just can’t seem to have the eye for it. My uncle needs a guardian Angel in his room , so I’m sure he’ll like this one as well as the train I finished up.

Good Morning Missy Tami, I'm glad that you like this one, I felt like there was a little magic in it while I was painting it. Being able to draw for me came from my observational skills, which allows me to see how objects should look in relationship to others, which helps me put things in proportion. Following many different artists for their tips and tricks could certainly send your painting process in a tizzy, as we all paint differently. So, of course it makes sense that you are more comfortable executing a painting you like with the artist who designed it, as it will be easier to follow their process to develop that end result. I'm sure your uncle will love this one. I hope you have a creative day filled with an awesome bike ride! See you soon, Michelle

Okay, Michelle, this is my third time watching this video. I painted the background and drew the angel. and I had to stop painting and watch your video. I have very little confidence that all that blending on the angel will even come close to your talent. I love your videos. I did the train painting and I worked on the tracks for 3 days before it looked right. You always say that acrylic paint is forgiving, well that is for sure! Michelle this painting, which I absolutely ❤️ as it has two favourite subjects of mine, Angels and Autumn. It also contains so many teaching techniques information for me, especially regarding the shading. Parts come alive with movement in what appears the simplest of strokes. You share so much knowledge in a very understandable way whilst always encouraging us the freedom to use our own personal preferences should we wish. I love your suggestions of ‘if making mistakes’ showing ways to cover up!🤣🤣🤣. My great grand children have several of my ‘Michelle’ paintings on their bedroom walls already, and the eldest is only 4! C's Wife How many layers of Gesso do you put on your canvas. Do you sand it down to get it smooth. I love this painting. I just finished the Ride with a witch painting, had so much fun. Thanks so much. You are a good teacher and such a blessing to us all.

Hi, I buy all my canvases already primed, it's much easier and convenient. You can use a layer of acrylic gesso if you want but it's not necessarily needed if it's already primed. My student grade paint adheres well to the canvas. If you do use gesso and there are clumps, you can lightly sand it down to smooth it out. I hope this helps. Have fun!

Bonjour, vous faites des toiles superbes, j'ai commencé par ce magnifique oiseau rouge et ce robinet, j'avais adoré, mais il me semble que vous avez ajouté de la neige. Celui ci , est magnifique aussi, j'aime l'application de votre peinture, tellement lisse, et les couleurs douces intemporelles, je suis intriguée vous servez vous d'une craie ou d'un pastel blanc pour faire vos tracés ? je ne sais parler la langue mais avec la traduction Anglaise je comprends vous effacez au traceur ?,j'adore cette peinture métallisée, elle est très appropriée au tableau, je vous envoie toutes mes félicitations Nadine du Sud de la France.
