How to draw chibis and find your style!

Here's some quick tips and tricks on how you can draw anime chibis! I talk a little bit about proportions, construction, and anatomy.
This video might be more useful for beginners or for people who are starting out. My goal is to make art as fun as possible for everyone.

Great video. I don't know why but I have a really hard time doing chibis. I can draw semi-realistic-ish or cartoony people. But chibis are so simplified that I don't know where to put the features, they either look like a ball with legs or very disproportionate normal humans hahaha

It's because of how heavily stylized it is I think. Heavily stylized art is just very hard to get a grasp of at first, but it does get easier the more you do it. Just experiment with it lol, you'll find something that works best for you!

thank you! i’m not necessarily looking to do a chibi style, but i want to develop a second simpler style i can utilize as well. i’ve been considering making a webcomic but my style is way too high maintenance for me to realistically keep it up or finish anything. i hope i can get some use in how to find a style that is a bit more minimalist, something i struggle with. playing around with a chibi art style might help me figure out some of the basics :)

Omg this is so cute! When i draw chibis, i normally do three heads tall and put detail on the eyes. Not realistic detail, just shading a bit. The hair sometimes i give up on lol- and i don't always draw noses. I just do it when I'm in the mood too, you know?

Great video! Learned a lot and will definitely be referencing this video as I try to draw this style. This helped a lot. First time ever I could draw a chibi I actually like and it looks cute.
