My first art lesson with Mother Gabriel, was to draw a ginger cat. My sight was better then but I saw tour squirrel with the same panic; every thread of fur that my convent;s thick wax crayons would not replicate.I sat helpless while my classmates drew orange circles. I was four and a half: at 85 I have all the materials but the old nun and evil tomcat linger.

I've never touched watercolour, so the final fur texture is just the coloured pencil without the water. Is that right? You're amazing
