Ikr i hate when ppl crop the mistakes out of their video, not only are imperfections better, but most people feel bad when they notice someone does everything perfectly and they know they cant
@ginasartcorner56867 жыл бұрын
Yeah axactly that! Some people like young starting artist feel like they can´t do a thing and the great KZbin artist can do it without mistakes and such. But that is mostly not the thruth. Thats why I like JelArts videos so much. She is a great artist but still so humble and natural in her videos. She is really a great influence to stay as natural as she is in her videos in my videos too.

Just remember that there are a lot of other artists who are just as nervous as you to post! The more you do it, the easier it will get. I still get nervous about posting drawings sometimes because I've over analysed it and talked myself out of liking the drawing, and I'm worried what people will say about it. Just go for it, and know that it will be worth it! Think of all the reasons why you want to post your art, and why it's something you want to do. You will make new art friends and get feedback too. And also remember that constructive criticism will come, but it's actually one of the most helpful things to improve and feel even more confident. Showing your creations to others can be so difficult, but just think of all the upsides! Ease yourself into it too, if it's too nerve wracking to start. Post little sketches first, then get into the larger drawings you care more about later on. I hope this helps :)
@alexibear25994 жыл бұрын
Hey take this from me, I’m sure it’s already been said before but.. EVERY artist thinks their own stuff SUCKS and others like their work. Just a reality to be jealous of other work. Use that jealously to work on improving your own style that’s not others. If you keep drawing/making stuff you will develop your own style and improve. You could take a class to help but it al depends on yourself in the end. Always support others in art, makes people want to improve more.
@Micsma7 жыл бұрын
Very well presented! I'm currently working on just drawing a singular straight line, but later tutorials confirm that the hand is shapes and when drawing, it is best to break it down into shapes. You have either discovered or were taught this, as you point out at the end that the hand is shapes! And in your gestural work, I think I see slyou defining the major shapes first!

One thing that helps with thumbs is not to think of them as a small, two joint finger. They have 3 joints and are bigger than even your middle finger, there's a joint for your thumb right down at your wrist that is easy to forget about.
