But i can say that im still fighting, working and doing art, im not living exclusively of art, but now i am earning some money through art and i can say it’s progress, but i had sacrificed my life in a way, everything has a price i believe, and it’s still hard. I do lots of forms of art, or diferent midias, cause i see that being capable of doing diferent things here helps on being a artist. I didn’t think about doing a channel about watercolor cause im more into street artist and muralism art, but on these subjects i thought in building a page, but at tha moment i don’t have a computer, i only have a used celphone that my sister passes down to me before she bought her new phone.

I really appreciate the advice about slowing down, using minimal water and light layers. So many books and videos really push the super wet wet-into-wet techniques that I just cannot seem to get the hang of and that I find frustrating. Also, the advice about reflecting on what your natural inclination/style was very helpful. It can become so easy to admire someone else's work and keep trying to "chase" that without realizing that it does not play to one's own strengths/skills. Another excellent video, thank you!

Really good tips, I learn so much on seeing other people draw. I get inspired and learn what stuff to be careful about, it saves me a lot of non-satisfactory drawings. Oh, and was anyone else just sitting digging the music from 9-11 min with a big smile on their face? It made me happy! And so glad to hear non-mainstream - painting needs other genres.

Thank you for your explanation of being a "linear artist". I had a "light bulb" moment! Now I see this is why I struggled with oils. I want a detail brush in my hand and I'm always trying to "draw" within the color. I've always felt I was doing something wrong. You've helped me to understand that it's just my preference!!! I was attracted to watercolor because it felt more natural for me to paint that way, (by sketching first and then letting the colors speak for themselves with the lines--still showing!) I feel free! :)
