You are doubly triply talented. You have a creative imagination, you have the artistic talent to execute what you have imagined, and you are able to demonstrate and explain your skill so others understand. Well done.

This pattern is both fascinating and fear inducing at the same time. I have major trypophobia and looking at this makes my skin crawl but it's so mesmerizing that I can't stop. LOL! 😂

I'm glad you're enjoying it, even if it does give you the heeby jeebies. I get that sometimes too, but my art brain always wins and draw all the creepy textures anyway. 🧡

Been wondering about how to do these. I think they are neat.

I like this pattern for the same reason that I like the ribbons, the combs, and the stretchy one that looks like gum on your shoe. Not sure what that reason is though. They are organic but unexpected in amongst more structured forms and they also seem like they should be impossible to draw. Thanks so much for the tutorials. Could you talk about how to decide where and when to use different patterns in a drawing? Using a small paper with borders really does help but, for me, it is difficult to combine random shapes. It’s almost like needing permission. Sometimes it’s enough that I can’t seem to even begin.

WOW! 🤩 I’ll definitely try this out! It looks so cool! Unfortunately my Fudenosuke pen did run out of ink & the black one was out of stock when I ordered from a shop, but I got the Pentel Brush Sign Pen instead, so I’ll try it out with that one & see how it goes. I have other colours in the Pentel Brush pen too, so I might try it out with different colours in the same drawing & see how that turns out. Thank you so much for this tutorial & the very good explanation of how to draw these ✍🏻🙏🏼✨

I can see that. Would look even more comet-like if the colors were reversed. It would be challenging to draw it in negative (for me, anyway,) but working on black paper, you can follow Betsi's instructions. Thanks for sparking an idea😊
