This video helped so much! I was doing a drawing and needed help on how to do the reflection, and when he talked about the white line I between the bridge and reflection, the drawing came out amazing! Thanks so much!

This is good to know! How amazing the difference is. It must be the additive they add to the graphite to make it water-soluble. This is a beautiful drawing thank you! My first love has always been drawing. Of course I used my fingers to shade with. My older sister used to draw a lot when I was a kids I always tried to draw like her. She drew beautiful women. My favorite was her drawings of a popular Sunday cartoon, Brenda Starr. Of course your way to young to know who that is. She was a glamorous drawn woman, kind of like Rita Hayworth. I love this drawing, I'm really happy I came across your channel.....

Hello smoothie...I've just attempted this, and its come out a complete shambles!!!Lol....the tree trunk and the darkest places I've sort of penciled jet black!!Lol...so I've erased a lot of it....and I'm looking at it now thinking, can this be saved...its not the bionic man, but the bionic picture!!...we can rebuild it!!!....I'm drawing on A5 paper, and I've drawn the bridge too far down so the trees reflections are going to be going out of the picture!!!...I'm going to carry on!!Lol

@smoothie77drawingpainting9 жыл бұрын

Dear Smoothie77, Thanks again for a great tutorial, I really now need to start practicing some more. LOL. Is it necessary to clean a blending stump? And if so, how does one go about it? I just love grafite. Greetings from Hungary
@smoothie77drawingpainting8 жыл бұрын
Hi Ineke, its not necessary to clean the blending stump, but if you do want it clean, its sandpaper that is used to rub of the graphite back to clean paper, greetings from England, and happy drawing!

I just draw my first "non childish" tree. And I have you to thank for it. This was very small. Trying now to make a bigger one. I am now using a grafite pencil to make grafite powder. Works a lot better. I believe you are right, that the jars with grafite powder are a mish mash. Do you have FB too? Can you show how to make a nice house? Slowly please? Please? Greetings,Ineke
