I like this topic. For me, wearing a mid-height (2-3-inch), block-heel, leather shoe, a good leather belt, and/or a silk scarf always makes me feel more polished or elevated. I don’t wear the community uniform of black or gray sweats or gym wear, I dress better and am much more comfortable, all that dark polyester is miserable, so called “tech” fabric or not. Natural-fiber fabrics forever!

I believe 29 is the waist size, if you're a medium 38, that sounds like a UK 10? Which is a waist 27, 28
