This video actually gave me strong Jimin (BTS) vibes. He rocks the SLP aesthetic at it's fullest, and he even wears women's clothing most of the time, his fashion is very androgynous and fascinating. He always manages to look chic and polished, yet effortless.
@jo_jo_jo4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the video, as it is very difficult to find male-oriented information about fashion with your quality. I am a thirty year old guy who's always struggling with his wardrobe. I have a rather slender, androgynous elongated body, so it's difficult for me to find the proper clothes. Normally, I avoid the typical male look, with shirts and blazers, because the sizes tend to be larger for men, so the often look too loose and baggy when I wear them. I know the answer would be tailoring, buy it is also more expensive than the average. Instead, I've come to embrace my body shape and set up a certain wardrobe, consisting of minimal plain T-shirts, good quality sweaters and some special pieces, as leather motorbike jackets, silver jewelry, lace details and pastel colours. My problem is that I really find it difficult to curate my wardrobe. Where I live is hard to find such pieces, as I only have acces to typical retailers, as Zara or Massimo Duti. That's why has taken me so long to curate my clothing and why I'm so excited every time I find a new piece Anyway, I would love to know more about this kind of styles (and others related to men) and where/how find them. So, lots of thanks! Edit: Moreover, my job is, esentially, a creative one. So when I have to meet with customers, I find it difficult to create a certain impact, because they tend to have this certain image of you, bohemian and chic, but also effortless. And it is very hard to elaborate it, as male fashion tend to be very conservative, with fewer retailers and a very limited pallet of colours. It is very hard to get out of the stardard without looking like a clown.
@Tiago-jx1hf4 жыл бұрын
As a super skinny guy I gave up buying "male clothes" because they never fit right for my body + they're expensive and boring. Now most of my wardrobe is from the women's section and all of the clothes fit me beautifully and let me express myself. Maybe you could try buying a women's blazer or shirt and see if you like it.
@Tiago-jx1hf4 жыл бұрын
You can also check out a YSL or Celine boutique. Those brands are aimed to skinny slender guys and have bolder pieces. They're expensive thought.
@jo_jo_jo4 жыл бұрын
@@Tiago-jx1hf Thank you so much for the information. I don't think I'll be able to afford some designer's clothes. Anyway, I'll investigate them, for fun and for inspiration. You know, many retailers tend to look for (when not copy) other's designers ideas. So you never know when you'll find something interesting in a pile of clothes on sales.
@jo_jo_jo4 жыл бұрын
@@Tiago-jx1hf Anyway, if anyone knows more firms or webs or whatever that works with that kind of clothes and wants to share them, then, welcome.

@@jo_jo_jo man I'm 15 and I can't afford these pieces I mean I would like to and I feel like I can't really express myself fully without buying designer clothes and I don't know any cheaper alternatives maybe you can help me there. And another point why I can't buy expensive clothes anyway is that I'm 6'4 right now and I'm growing taller thats why wouldnt buy designer anyway even if I could afford some pieces

I'm sorry if this video impacted you negativity. That wasn't my point here. Visuals of high fashion brands tend to include slimmer people. We need more content like this. Made the mistake of attempting style inspiration from Tik Tok and it just seems every "influencer" is downplaying skinny jeans or clothes that actually fit as opposed to the more looser fits that are seemingly in trend now. Style is about self expression and unfortunately people would rather go through a cookie cutter way of styling.
