A close cousin to this style is Malandragem, which is the Brazilian sleezy guy personified by characters like Agostinho Carrara and the Disney character Zé Carioca. It is about living a carefree Brazilian lifestyle of laziness, churrasco, pagode, samba, bar time with friends while doing petty crimes and soft con artistry to get by. Despite their devious side, they are seen as anti-heroes who care about the community and despite their small mischeaviousness end up doing good in the long run. Also Vacation Dadcore and Cartelcore are in the family with Sleezycore and Malandragem.

I think good sleazcore should also incorporates a certain elegance. Imho most of these fits are based in classic/formal men's wear of the time, usually presented with a degenerated fucked up essence. Be it because your last deal turned sour or because youre a disgusting piece of shit doesnt really matter. Personally i think focusing on the tacky part makes it look like a costume too easily and if i add a dash of elegance this aesthetic feels like an honest description of my personality and worldview. Damn, fashion is fascinating m8s..
