Charming little bistro set; your friend will be thrilled. My favorite thrifted fashion find was a cashmere coat in a bright chartreuse color. I wasn’t even looking for clothes but rather zipping through the clothes section to go get some plates to use as saucers for some indoor plants. The bright color stopped me in my tracks, and happily it was a perfect fit. Hello to Stewart…caught the little wave in the door reflection. 😆

I don't look at clothes at goodwill. But sometimes people look at something,, change their mind and leave the item on the end cap. Then I notice it. I have two dresses that I wear ALL THE TIME that were Goodwill purchases from the end cap. One is denim and I love it.

That was a Giant Swallowtail. They are so beautiful. We just released three of them today. We have their host tree Wild Lime, they lay their eggs there as well as feed on its leaves. Nature 💛.

I have a white Bistro set under a tree sitting on black mulch do great for past 20 years. I keep a ceramic white tea pot and 2 china cups and saucers filled with water the Cardinals love sitting perched on rim of tea cups and gently sip water from cups. Beautiful to watch them☺️♥️

Linda, I ve grown 600 lupines for my city .... In the beginning more than 300 failed ( it was probaby too hot) but I ve tried again.... and finally succeeded ... it was a lot of work ... 600 lupines are planted out all around my city ( Oostende) I m relieved ... hopefully it will flower well in about 3 weeks ... Linda, a friend gave me a lovely bouquet of many flowers recently. As the flowers were fading I realized there was several stalks of Mint (herb). I took the Mint and have put in water to produce roots. Then, I will plant in my clay pots. Who knew I could continue growing from this bouquet? ❤️😊

I think that butterfly is a Giant Swallowtail. I have them here in Central PA. They love Rue and Dill. First time I saw one in my herb garden, it was so big I thought it was a bat!

Hi Linda and Stewart I recognized your britches immediately ! They look great. You know you can have belt loops sewed on. I do that all the time. So annoying not to have pockets and belt loops! But I think that bistro set is adorable and I am certain Kerry will love it. What a nice surprise for her! I think the gravel looks so natural in your garden. I can’t really picture a deck looking as good as what you did with the gravel and stone work. Also I noticed how well you hide your electric box and wiring. Nice. Looking forward to hearing Kerry’s reaction to her surprise ! That butterfly was huge. Hard to miss and hard to film. In a shady area I like variegated leaves to reflect the light and white flowers. Those white hydrangeas will look great in a shady area! My limelight is just blooming now! 👍🏻🤗

I love your patio space and would love to get rid of our deck and do the same. My favorite clothing item from GW is my most recent purchase. It was a plaid long sleeved Columbia shirt with UPF. We were going on a fishing trip and it help keep me protected from the sun. It was brand new and only like $6!

I am a serious coleus devotee. I will say that it takes a little bit of looking at Nurseries to get the beautiful more rare coleus. But it is well worth it. Last year I put in a Linda Vater gravel flagstone patio in the my front yard. It is gorgeous…but…I have trouble keeping the gravel not on the flagstone. Please tell us how you keep it so neat? I know that earlier you did a video on your gravel…. I would love an update and detail video on the gravel patio. How do you decide when to use bricks? Love all thing Linda Vater. Love the bistro set! So beautiful. I have two sets on my property. One is sitting in the middle of the yard with a repurposed chandelier hanging on a branch above and the other is placed in a natural gazebo setting awaiting it’s chandelier. Branches aren’t sturdy enough yet. Love them! Hope to build a beautiful garden like yours around them soon. Texas weather has been particularly brutal this year.

Your garden is so lovely . Pea gravel is wonderful. When we lived in a house with dogs (years ago). We had a very pretty pea gravel area in the back where our dogs used to do their business. For some reason dogs seem attracted to pea gravel. You do need to replenish some of the gravel every other year. But it looks pretty and keeps the dogs off of the grass.
