Watched all KZbin videos on how to drift I could find , from CTorretto to Kame Trick and even some real life drifters and none of them covered as much as you did. Following the other KZbinrs didn't make me improve as much because I didn't understand how to do the throttle pulsing and maintaining my line that way. Anyway I'm glad I stubmled upon your channel it helped a lot because I'm usually a slow learner.

Thank you for the feedback, I am still working on new episodes, just released one more today. I believe the reason why others withold information even, if they know it is the following: If they make you a good driver, you might stop watching their content and be on the hook, so by keeping you a bad driver and barely telling you how and what to do and how it works, you might barely do any progress, thats at least my logic.

Trust me people don't want more good drivers into the youtube space to steal their bread or audience you will be surprised of the hate and envy this community also has behind closed doors. I had to study a lot myself to improve my coaching and explanations and what helped me the most is that I learned everything the hard way myself, so my goal is to explain it as simplistic and easy to understand as possible, while also being effective to apply immediately. I want to share all secrets rather than keeping the knowledge for myself and just spam driving videos. Great tutorial One unfortunate thing that determines how easy it will be to drift is your racing wheel. Gear-driven wheels like Logitech are usually too slow to steer themselves after the initiation, so you will have to manhandle the wheel with a flick to get it where it needs to be in time. Belt-driven and direct drive wheels don't have this problem as they have almost instant torque and will spin at the same speed as the in-game tires/wheel would but gear-driven wheels like the G27, G29, G923 will have to play catch up and if you just let it spin on its own it won't be fast enough leading to a spinout.

Very happy to hear this brother, practice makes it perfect, people won't believe me, but I slept on donuts for days, it's all about not skipping a step on the stairs, master each skill and move to the next, most people make the biggest mistake, they jump stairs not mastering the skill sets and then, you see them driving horribly ugly, failing on tandems bad transitions, the guy just doesn't have full control of the car, the way people drive tells me immediately now how much of a control a guy has, if the car pack we use is good ofc. Keep pushing the grind and practice put in pays off, remember fear the guy who practiced the same punch a 1000 times not the guy who practiced everything 50 times and barely knows shit right

@projectxmotorsport7 ай бұрын
Thanks brother, donuts are still part of the drift and the donut is the best possible foundation to learn throttle and wheel control, once people have this foundation I can teach them the other things, but without this I cannot teach them the rest, it's why is part #1 of all my tutorials, I hope you will enjoy them and thank you for the feedback!

great tutorial but im curious about which type of tyres should i use, i feel like i can drift better using semiclick tyres but should i use street tyres so that i would learn better?
@projectxmotorsport6 ай бұрын
Hey brother, I'd strongly recommend you to use the Kunos E30 Drift car for learning, I am doing a lot of private paid coaching on the side and use that car as start, it showed amazing progress with my clients combined with the coaching. Also get my E30 tunes, they are free on patreon and use the "Smooth ASF" tune. You are also welcome to my Friday Free Coaching Drift Meet / Practice session, for more info jump on discord. Regarding tires, for you as starter use street on wdts, less grip = more slidy, more slidy = easier for you to control, more grip will mean car to be a bit more aggressive than street tires or in some cases crazy aggressive and snappy

For catching the wheel should i hold it in place or just stop it for a sec and then let it, i dont know why i cant catch the angle great explanation tho :)
@projectxmotorsport8 ай бұрын
Hey brother, as I explain in the video, we settle the angle of the car, when we lift-off the throttle, so when you set the angle and look at monitor, if the car looks where you want it to look, then you catch and keep throttle.
@deadjoy968 ай бұрын
@@projectxmotorsport thank U for reply brother :)) , by catch means hold the wheel in place ( cuz my issue now is I do a nice drift then the car transition and rotate all the way :))) thank you :DDD
@projectxmotorsport8 ай бұрын
@@deadjoy96 yes you hold the wheel in place, but for a very short time after you settled with lift off, because after you catch, you need to keep setting new steering angle and keeping the spinout aka oversteering aka drift going around the donut.
