Watched all KZbin videos on how to drift I could find , from CTorretto to Kame Trick and even some real life drifters and none of them covered as much as you did. Following the other KZbinrs didn't make me improve as much because I didn't understand how to do the throttle pulsing and maintaining my line that way. Anyway I'm glad I stubmled upon your channel it helped a lot because I'm usually a slow learner.

Hey brother, with that purpose I had to think very very carefully how to teach others what I didn't know, since I had to learn it all alone. People hide knowledge on purpose, as they don't want competition.

Thank you for the feedback, I am still working on new episodes, just released one more today. I believe the reason why others withold information even, if they know it is the following: If they make you a good driver, you might stop watching their content and be on the hook, so by keeping you a bad driver and barely telling you how and what to do and how it works, you might barely do any progress, thats at least my logic.

@@SticksAandstonesBozo yes, it will be SRP, i have tons of ideas, but I am limited financially sadly, but in future, if I can save money I will host way more, I am learning modding slowly to create our own cars. Even doe the server is still SRP aka shutoko, I spent a month perfecting the traffic picking cars to be equal and most importantly to be good for both drifting in traffic and cutup tandems, a little work left.

I appreciate the feedback, it helps and means a lot. I will dig a lot in the guides more, as we are working a lot on behind the scenes servers and I am learning non-stop tuning each day practicing and driving. Very soon I will take a break from tuning a bit and go back to do videos a lot and bump the guides. The goal is once I cover all techniques to go and do a completely from 0 to hero guides, going from the donut + exams for people to do, then into other stuff.

Happy to hear this brother, I know how chaotic others are and I delayed my series for almost 1 year, I'm the best at the moment, but here's the deal, you might be a good, great or best driver, but that doesn't make you a good coach, so I saw how dogshit coach I was and I just started working a lot on simplifying, breaking down information and showcasing. I really hope you will enjoy my episodes we are still at episode 11, but going slowly. You are welcome to my weekly drive meets and in discord you can ask questions or send clips, if you struggle with something in the Drift Talk channel, a lot of people reach for specific weird situations for advice or why something is happening.

Regarding this video, yes it is the best of it's time compared to others out there, but now I really do not agree with a lot that I have been teaching in it, as from 1 year of regular drift coaching now I have insanely better methods compared to the one showed in the video, I will slowly incorporate them in videos, but ofc videos come slow. Thank you very much brother, I am currently working on the new episodes, sorry I've been busy IRL, my goal is to share everything that the top level drivers either do NOT want to share or don't know how to teach it. Trust me people don't want more good drivers into the youtube space to steal their bread or audience you will be surprised of the hate and envy this community also has behind closed doors. I had to study a lot myself to improve my coaching and explanations and what helped me the most is that I learned everything the hard way myself, so my goal is to explain it as simplistic and easy to understand as possible, while also being effective to apply immediately. I want to share all secrets rather than keeping the knowledge for myself and just spam driving videos. I hope what I bring to the table will help you on your journey and you are welcome to my discord!

@@scope5545 It's all about practice, yes until like 24 age young kids and teenagers their brain is like a spunge, learn fast, play fast. Can handle more stress and play longer, they get less exhausted mentally and physically. Keep practicing and it will pay off, just avoid bad habits like handbrake and so on, until you master donut, throttle and steering control, then cluck kicks and weight transfer. I'm slowly digging into these.

Very happy to hear this brother, practice makes it perfect, people won't believe me, but I slept on donuts for days, it's all about not skipping a step on the stairs, master each skill and move to the next, most people make the biggest mistake, they jump stairs not mastering the skill sets and then, you see them driving horribly ugly, failing on tandems bad transitions, the guy just doesn't have full control of the car, the way people drive tells me immediately now how much of a control a guy has, if the car pack we use is good ofc. Keep pushing the grind and practice put in pays off, remember fear the guy who practiced the same punch a 1000 times not the guy who practiced everything 50 times and barely knows shit right

Hey brother, I completely understand your situation, I got hooked by a friend who have a busted G27 and you can't drift on it, only drive and be super safe, cuz it was so broken haha, then I couldn't afford a wheel for so long, until I saved a few salaries and I bought my first Logitech G29, before that I started on keyboard. Practice is important, but it can only get you so far, it's very important to also rewatch replays look for the mistakes and then self-reflect with that feedback on where you do a mistake and my goal is with my videos people to know the possibilities and techniques they can use, when they self-reflect and find what they did wrong.

Great tutorial One unfortunate thing that determines how easy it will be to drift is your racing wheel. Gear-driven wheels like Logitech are usually too slow to steer themselves after the initiation, so you will have to manhandle the wheel with a flick to get it where it needs to be in time. Belt-driven and direct drive wheels don't have this problem as they have almost instant torque and will spin at the same speed as the in-game tires/wheel would but gear-driven wheels like the G27, G29, G923 will have to play catch up and if you just let it spin on its own it won't be fast enough leading to a spinout.

Also get my E30 tunes, they are free on patreon and use the "Smooth ASF" tune. You are also welcome to my Friday Free Coaching Drift Meet / Practice session, for more info jump on discord. Regarding tires, for you as starter use street on wdts, less grip = more slidy, more slidy = easier for you to control, more grip will mean car to be a bit more aggressive than street tires or in some cases crazy aggressive and snappy

@@exoticmotorsportofficial I identified the issue, and it appears that my Logitech software was buggy. I had to reinstall the Logitech software and remove certain files in regedit, after which it works flawlessly. I downgraded to version 2020.1.31123 am using g29. P.s leaving this here for the logitech users.

How do I hold a drift in higher speeds, I manage to not spin out but the car just grips up so easily even as I give more throttle and isn't redlining it 24/7

@@exoticmotorsportofficial Thank you that would be appreciated, when my speed increases I end up trying to pull the steering wheel to the point of switching grip on it just to force it to slide more 😅

Hey brother, try rebinding them in settings -> controls -> axis and see if it works, I believe you are using a wheel and pedals right? For controller players there is a different place to bind a button for clutch.

@@exoticmotorsportofficial ye wheel and pedals, but i already tryed to rebind, in the corner where u see all the buttons when pressed it registers but didnt register when binding

hm that is weird, might be some sort of device interference, I can only guess brother. I'd advice to use the method of elimination and try to see, if it's device issue or maybe need to update software if there is one, also changing usb slots where you have plugged the pedals can help a lot, make sure you don't use usb hub for wheel and pedals etc.

Hey Grant, glad that you are very serious about learning, I'd strongly recommend you checking out my coaching on patreon in this case, as this is 1yr old video, I will keep making more how to drift episodes, but honestly if you really want fast progress 1 on 1 coaching is the way to go, as videos are very "generic" information, they do not target the people's personal struggles on what they are stuck on.
