Are you tired of not being able to drift in GTA 5? Too many confusing guides that leave you scratching your head? This is the ultimate guide on how to drift in gta 5, aiming to be an in-depth and easy to follow guide, giving you all of the skills you need to level up from a beginner to a pro.
I will teach you how to drift from the ground up, covering the essentials in tuning and technique, including skills such as counter steering, throttle control, double clutching, handbrake control, among many more. This video will improve your skills at drifting at both low and high speeds in the best drift cars. By the end of this video you will have learned how to drift, and should allow you to be well on your way to drifting like a pro in gta 5 online.
This skills teaching you how to drift work on all platforms and were all recorded on PS4, using a standard DS4 controller without the use of any mods.

General Tuning Guide To Drift In GTA 5 / GTA Online:
Armour- Doesn't Matter
Brakes - Stock
Engine - EMS Upgrade, Level 4
Bumpers / Grill / Skirts Etc. - Doesn't matter (much)
Spoiler - Stock (Some very high powered cars like banshee can use it if its too slippery for you)
Suspension: Personal Preference - Lower = less grip - I reccomend Sport
Transmission - Slower cars = stock (handbrake drifting) - Faster cars = Race Transmission (Clutch Dump/ High Speed Drifts)
Bulletproof tires - ABSOLUTELY NOT
Wheel Type: Any other than Offroad is fine - personal preference

Day 2 of practicing: I’m starting to get the hang of drifting, with the exception of the hairpin turns and the full circle drifts around an object. I’m using the 9k Karin futo tuned like in your video, but with the low grip tires. The issue I’m having is that I’m spinning out toward the end of the turn. I’ve been practicing in the test track

U need to work on throttle and counter steering timing. Work on letting off the gas some when u normally spin out. Start ur counter drift steering sooner.

I just wanted to mention that you don't have to sell your car, if you're u have bullet proof tires. You can go to Los Santos customs and, buy normal tires again for $500.
