Another good one to go with Winton and PI. Only been there twice with current car and have yet to experience a full dry track. Have seen 2 expensive BMW's binned at T9 after not getting thru t7/t8 right and then not being able to brake for t9. Found that a late turn in at t4 plus comprising t11 for t12 helps with speed down straights.

Sandown can be a challenge at the best of times but is pretty risky in the wet. Very easy to get into trouble and find yourself heading toward a barrier there.

these videos are super helpful. I did my first trackway in winton after watching your video. You should do one on the Calder Park full circuit. drive events is doing the sessions now.

Great video Brendan! I have not been taking advantage of riding the kerb of turn 9, that’s on my to do list for next time I’m out at Sandown (I regularly do 7-8 as it make an enormous difference to my times and keeps the car very stable). Of course driving Sandown in the wet is another story, the Ken’s, on particular the painted section must be avoided at all costs!!😬

@@yowie0889 There's a button there somewhere for that. Had my fair share of various brands of car, including multiple Holdens and Fords. In all cases the Holdens were superior.

I always find it stupid how people decide to build & buy homes near race tracks that have existed for half or more than century and then complain about the noise. What's even crazier is that the governments tend to side with them. Hope these race tracks stand for a really long time. Atleast long enough for when I'm dead and burried.
