Mint is a versatile herb that can be used fresh or dried and it gives dishes a nice refreshing flavor. In this video you'll learn how to dry mint for fall and winter months. Once dried properly your mint will stay fresh for a year or two in air-tight container stored in a cool, dark place. You can sprinkle over salads, drinks, soups, yogurt or make tea.
The method, I shared of drying mint at room temperature apply to other leafy herbs too and it is the easiest and least expensive way for how to dry. So if you have a herb garden, you can dry them in the same manner.
