Thanks Joas wife! I am inspired - though I would have no mint tea left over after winter thats for sure, its my favourite. I love the way your face lights up when you smile. Genuine compliment. Thanks to Joas, you (sorry, I forgot your name), and your family.

I do grow herbs...love mint. I take it mainly fresh coz in Uganda it grows all year round. I do dry in my guest room too. I use the dry on my travels. Spear mint is my favourite for tea. Chocolate mint for smoothies

This was great! I should have known how to do this a few years ago when I owned and operated a tea shop. This mint tea is really good and I used to drink it when I lived in Egypt...just as you do only mint...sometimes we could mix it with dark tea and than was lovely too. Thank you for showing all your viewers how you harvest and dry your mint.

Really like yours methods...so much similar to things my mom and grandma did with almost all sorts of veggies and fruits back in India. I kinda lost that touch after coming to US and getting distracted with other stuff. This encourages me...always been in my heart to pick up again where my mom left off.

Thanks for your ideas. The tea looks lovely. Do you mix the dried tea leaves together? How long do you soak the tea leaves in hot water before you drink the tea? I’ve never tried this method before. It’s very interesting. Will look forward to growing and drinking my own tea 🍵. Thanks for sharing. God Bless 🙏❤️

Yes, we mix a different varieties together. We steep the tea leaves in hot water for five minutes or more, Depending on how intense you want the flavor. You will love it!

I enjoy tea and here in india we love tea with milk in it :) Nowadays however it has become a fad to drink green tea and other kinds of similar tea - all the influence from China - but there is nothing like a good tea with milk :0)

Priscilla the beginning of this vlog is heavenly; the scenery is devine. I have a question in regard to your tea garden...is it difficult to grow those types of teas in particular regions? How long did it take for your tea to spread out in that large area? How long have your been growing your tea garden? Thank you. 💕
@MontanaHaven
@MontanaHaven 4 жыл бұрын
This tea is very easy to grow. I think it will grow almost anywhere as it spreads super fast! We actually have to keep chopping out the tea because it wants to spread out too far into our garden. So we only started with a couple small plants and now it has spread in several years to that huge of an area.

@MontanaHaven

Mint tea is very very easy to grow! If you’re not careful it gets out of hand fast almost like a weed! Yes you can definitely grow it in your house! Just go to a greenhouse and buy a couple small varieties to figure out what you like. We have chocolate, mint and chamomile.
@MontanaHaven

My dehydrator burnt out so I just made a "biltong box" this week (I'm South African, in Canada). I just got the idea to use the oversized box I made to dry mint - what a great idea - and inspired by your post. Thanks!
