I'd like to share a very quick way of making and drying paper mache.
I have lots of quick tutorials and ideas for you to follow.
Flour - I also add a little corn flour (corn starch in USA) and cold water glue and white printing paper strips in a Pyrex dish lined with Cling Each layer dried in a microwave on medium setting for about 20-30 seconds or less - test your own microwave. My setting is 800..
Open frequently to release steam and to dry glass plate with a paper towel to absorb moisture.
I used 3 layers + a final one to seal the rim edges.
Do not not not put anything made of metal in the microwave.
Not even metal leaf.
And please don't leave unattended.
I loved the bowl so much just as it was that I didn't decorate it (and I forgot that I said I would) so I promise that I will very soon and upload another video.

UPDATE - Winter 2021 - It's still Lockdown and I'm making a new series of tutorials etc for my KZbin Channel.
There's a kind of Time Warp that seems to be happening during lockdown - here in the South West of England everywhere is very quiet and it's winter though quite a mild one so far. I've had lots of time to think about what I can do.
I'm going to try to share everything I've learned in my area of paper-mache plus added videos that I hope will convey some of the beauty of where I live in what is called An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - it really is. Also I love beach-combing and collecting natural objects and have always liked to experiment with jewellery that I make from them.
My intention is not to show you how to make very quick vessels and pieces of jewellery but to show how to create things of beauty, originality and quality that will become heirlooms for you to pass on.
Inspiration is everywhere but sometimes we may need a few sign posts to find it so I'll bring those along too.
