i love dutch braids a lot more than french braids. they are more elegant. french ones are for sports and like gym, the dutch ones are for going out. :))

life of julia personally I think it a lot easier if you start with a very small piece of hair and the add very small pieces of hair. I watched multiple different videos and combined techniques just as a experiment and I finally got it I have been practicing for more than 2 years and just now got it.

Feel free to continue the “reverse” braid all the way down your hair☺️ Switching the direction doesn’t make much of a difference, at least in my opinion, but it’s whatever works for you 👍 Great video

At first I couldn't do this but I finally figured it out, so u do a normal braid but the the hairs under not over, start with doing a braid with two strands , then add hair to one strand and put it under neath, the next and put it underneath. Do this all the way down your head until u no longer have any hair, then do a regular braid. Make sure to wet your hair or put a serum to smooth out ur hair.

The last time I braided hair was on a Barbie doll & it wasn't a Dutch braid lol. So braiding my OWN hair (especially since I don't know how to braid & my hair is short) is such a challenge and I watch videos after videos & all of them confuse me expect for this one. I never leave comments but I just had to here! I have NEVER been able to braid my own hair, and it has been one frustrating try after another. I've tried watching several KZbin tutorials but I never understood the concept... Until now!
