HOW TO DYE MY HAIR PURPLE OMBRE with a SHADOW ROOT (AT HOME)

Purple ombre hair color and shadow root at home. It was time for another color change! I still had left over blue in my hair but I worked with it for this next color. Salons are still shut in the UK because of lockdown, so I have embraced my roots for this next hair color and tried a shadow root into the purple ombre hair color. I love how this hair color has turned out!

I’ve never seen the roots color before, but I loved it and the three colors are beautiful and you did an amazing job. At 52 the only color I can do is some pink in October for breast cancer awareness. I’m seeing my hairdresser for highlights Friday. 💚💚

When I used to have my hair bleached I got highlights onto my roots so I always had a root drag. My hair dresser would pull out the longest root pieces to bleach and it meant I never had that horrible line as it grew out. I couldn't afford to have my hair bleached every 4 weeks so it meant I could stretch out to 8/10 weeks between appointments!

Usually when you put a hair dye over another hair dye it'll kinda merge the colours together. Which is why it went a plum

Hi,I know you have experimented a lot with temporary vivids but have you tried just adding a spot of black to the mix nearest the roots,it will save having to use developer on your hair,plus easier to remove when you need to bleach your roots? I think the teal ends left out against the purple would have looked great!

Next time you could use color theory to achieve the color you want! Like to get pink on ends that have blue in them, you could use a little orange in your pink to cancel out the blue! You could put coral on next time to achieve a truer pink! Although, I think it looks beautiful!

In my opinion darker roots always look the best cause it then looks like that your "unnatural" hair color grows naturally out of your hair

I’ve been dying my hair “fashion” colors for years now, and it’s actually way more difficult to pull unnatural colors out of hair than it is to go from brown to blonde!

The shadow root dye is demi permanent so it'll fade and o can get my roots bleached again when the salon open
