What solo builds do you plan on using against 7 star Dondozo?

I plan to use my shiny Volcanion. Dondozo wont be able to do any damage with water type moves bc of water absorb

replace reflect with parabolic charge, and give miraidon the magnet as it's held item. it's an extra boost to electric attacks, and parabolic charge getting boosted by both the terran and the magnet will give you more recovery while charge gives miraidon more defense

6 Star dondozo raids drop tons of Herba Mystica, this one is going to be an INSANE farm for it. I’m guessing 3-4+ per raid, because the 6-Star version’s pool is already broken.

If Don is Unaware. I was thinking Wo-Chien. It has leaf storm. Unaware ignores the drop u get from leaf storm and Wo out speeds Don naturally plus the tablets of ruin abilitie and reflect puts a big damper on Dons attack stat. This is just a theory i had.

I think imma honestly just go with the Ole serperior on this one, see if it can't just muscle it's way through. Miraidon is gonna be a big support play here, and imma regret it later, but I think pawmot might be the big play, getting extra resistance with that fighting type is pretty nice. The only thing I'll see wrong with pawmot is its defenses

I considered trick room to prevent double damage from avalanche, but looking it up its actually -4 priority meaning that any turn Dondozo uses it, it will do double damage - unless your move is also -4 priority like dragon tail.

For support mons, I think Tsareena will be the best. I've always used it against Dondozo. Sweet Veil prevents sleep for all allies. Access to Sunny Day and Screens. Signature move Trop Kick also lowers physical attack.

Water absorb Vaporeon is an angel. Chilling water and helping hand all you need

Electric Tera Rotom Wash. Levitate gets rid of the ground weakness, but also loses the electric terrain protection so IDK if that will work if Don has yawn. Good defense, and the water typing will resist water STAB and steel coverage. Reflect and Electric terrain will help teammates, and solid setup and SpA stab options with Nasty Plot and Thunderbolt (or Thunder in rain). Low HP stat may offset the high defense though.

i guess at this point having a teammate with an ability which blocks sleep would be needed. i think its called sweet veil

@@MrEmptyKay yeah definitely sweet veil i had teammates with that and it prevented status conditions on everyone in the raid. according to bulbapedia Sweet Veil causes Yawn to fail if used on the Pokémon or its allies (including non-adjacent allies), and prevents the Pokémon and its allies already drowsy due to Yawn from falling asleep.

I know it may be a bit risky but I'm having a lor of fun lately using Sandy Shocks in raids, i cleared the 7 star Emboar with ease since it's pretty bulky, so I'm wondering if an Electric tera may resist those first few turns while it's weak to water moves 🤔

I love the idea of Sandy Shocks here, and congrats on the success with it in recent raids. With a quick turn 1 Sunny day this might be enough to get you to the point of Terastalising so you can remove that water weakness then it should be plain sailing from there. GL with this build when the raid drops I'd love to hear an update when the event goes live :)

I was able to solo the 7 star Dondozo raid with Appletun. Appletun build, Max Sp Attack and Hp, Giga Drain, Dragon Pulse, Apple Acid, Iron Defense, Thick Fat, Modest Nature, Grass Tera, Miracle Seed. Apple Acid, Giga Drain, and Iron Defense are the only moves necessary. Thick Fat is a mandatory ability for Appletun. Shell Bell would be a good alternative held item for Appletun, but I used Miracle Seed.

I will definitely try that though, I have used electric terrain for that purpose on my Iron Hands successfully, but never tried it in a 7 star. Thank for your reply, much appreciated.

Grass are only immune to spore status effects. You can also yawn ghost types.

Okay hear me out I know everyone wants to be the star of the show and use miraidon in group raids with randoms, but if you use chilling water, water absorb vaporeon like I have, no matter how bad your team is youll win. Because it has unaware, lowering its attack is extremely important. It prevents my teams miraidons and bellibots from dying. Basically i spam chilling water, then heal my team when needed and then helping hand when they are safe. Also, its impossible for dozo to kill me because he will use wave crash at least 3 times on me

@@theangelpenguin7936if you have the dlc do a bunch of the pokeball lotto with BBQ points. I got most of my exp candies from there and bottle caps to get the mons ready. RAIDs itself can give you these too!

@@theangelpenguin7936 get a strong Pokémon that can do a certain type of raid get your iv max and your growth rate you can buy the mints from Chansey supplies and delibird store has bottle caps to max iv then either buy vitiams or use the held iteam tge bands that you nor’easter stats with battling once you got it’s stats max and lvl 100 you can easily solo anything under 5 star and 5 star up in groups should be doable then we rewads to repeat in another

Yeah i just looked at Rotom Wash, it resists Water and Ice, it's immune to Ground and also has access to Nasty Plot, Reflect and Electric Terrain
