On July 23, 2023, a Wisconsin State Trooper engaged in a vehicle pursuit with a driver who refused to stop in Dunn County, WI. Dunn County Sheriff's deputies later joined the chase as the suspect vehicle reached speeds nearing 140 mph. The pursuit concluded after stop sticks disabled the vehicle, leading to the male driver's peaceful surrender. Further investigation revealed the man was an active-duty Marine traveling from Bismarck, ND to Camp Lejeune, NC. When questioned about his motives for fleeing, deputies were stunned by his explanation.

Possible explanation: Fake contract marriage to get dependent BAH and did a deployment or two saving up all the money. The expensive clothes/watches could have been purchased over seas for a fraction of what they go for in the states. I had a friend who served in the military with me, E-4 who bought a $115k BMW in cash for his 21st bday, all money he saved in 3 years from deployments and contract marriage.

Let’s not forget, that those stupid things depreciate like crazy. Mercedes and Audi are horrible when it comes to depreciation. I bought my Audi rs5 in 2013 for 87k out the door, 2021 I trade it in with 91,000 miles on it for a whopping 15k, similar story with my 2000 C43.

I was very impressed with the way these officers handled a high speed chase, deployed spike sticks. Then no screaming, yelling, no barking confusing orders, no running towards the suspect with guns drawn and slamming him to the ground. Instead they approached a vehicle from a distance and ordered the suspect out of the vehicle over a loud speaker with guns drawn and asked him to walk backwards towards the officers until they can cuff him. Also, what really impressed me was that only one officer was giving clear instructions, one instruction at a time to avoid any confusion, and the other cops were silent. Excellent department and great officers, they did an awesome job at de-escalating the situation considering it being a felony stop. And the communication between the police and the sherriff department was excellent. This should be a training video on how all officers across the country should handle felony stops. Edit: Thanks for all the likes and informal comments and feedback, you guys are amazing.

I was driving the Jeep and I never saw him coming up my right side. I estimated he was going 120-140MPH when he came within a couple inches of killing me and I would have never known. He hit the rumble strip and scared the S#*T out of me as I was merging to the right to yield to the emergency lights. A couple minutes before I had seen a bunch of police cars in the median and side of the road and thought it was just a speed trap. As it got really foggy I saw strobe lights come on about a 1/4 mile behind me in the fog. Two cops were on the side with their lights on and I slowed to about 35mph but didn't see anyone. I thought maybe the road was closed ahead but had no idea what was about to happen. His headlights may have been off when he came around me on the shoulder. He almost hit me from behind and then cut across the front of me as he passed. His tires shredded right after that and the felony stop occurred about another 1/4 mile away. You see me pull onto the shoulder which is where I stopped next to a bridge for about ten minutes. Most of the other cars he'd just passed continued to drive through the felony stop. I was prepared for a shootout to happen in front of me.

@Chris_de_S 185k start, night black magno paint 4k, night black magno package 4k, designo interior 8k, 22" black cross spokes 4k. That's 205k with only the options we can see in the video. This isn't an opinion. You can go to mbusa and see for yourself. Add all the taxes and fees after that.
