a few pointers from my side...(from my experience) not too much risk in the aircon condensate water as the tank water starts fermenting in just a few days...some water treatment may help DONT LOOSE CONDENSATE WATER, you will be amazed how much you can collect...install an inline head pressure pump, then you can wash your car USING RAIN WATER TO WASH CAR IS HEALTHY, no streaks from chlorine etc...over flow to go into a French drain adding to the water table...best thing is to use a hole saw and cut a hole through the cover and USE THE COVER plate...I have a variety of tanks...ROTO also has some good features...

Hi. Great video. Pls help need advice. I'm interested in buying a tall but narrow Jojo tank. I have no side yards. Will the tank fit through my house doors to get it into the back yard. Thanks in advance

Hi Misty, unfortunately, even the slim range tanks won't fit through an average door. NM

Please help me. Do I really need to buy a smaller tank? We dont have second floor and we need water during daytime so we will buy a 600 liter tank + pump. But they said that we should buy a smaller one. Please help.

Hi Bischarch. It all depends on what you want to use the water for? If it's rainwater harvesting, then you want to store as much water as possible as you you know, we go for long dry spells between each rainfall. Hence the more you store , the longer it will last before you run dry. If you are wanting to use it as a municipal back up like the following clip then it also depends on the duration your municipal supply is interrupted for. I run a 750 litre slimline for my home municipal back up which seems to be perfect. My recommendation would be to stick with a standard Slimline tank around 750 litres as in the clips. Check out the municipal back up clip if needed kzbin.info/www/bejne/hGjYq5ubbZ6GpZY I hope this info helps. Kind Regards. Andrew.

@@BuildersFan thanks for the info. I will buy 600 liter tank + water pump but they are insisting that I should buy a pressure tank too. We don't have second floor and the source of water is less than 9 meters away so do I need it? All I want is to have water during day time. Our water only run during night so I need a tank for the day. Im sick of storing water in our large drums and bukcets every night. Please help.

Any guy who thinks it’s smart to put an ugly tank in front of a window-any window, is not worth watching. Sorry…
