Yes it worked well. Only 1 in 55 it could not but that is a win in my book. The only one it could not deal with was Realtek Bluetooth A/V remote control controller and windows reasoning is verbatim : The driver for this device has been blocked from starting because it is known to have problems with Windows. Contact the hardware vendor for a new driver. (Code 48) Click 'Check for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available.

There is one security concern with tools like this.. It will install drivers without knowing where they are coming from. Now I don't know this tool but as we all know drivers can be very malicious so I would still exercise caution by using tools like this. I will say though that a tool like this can be very helpful.

SDIO is probably one of the most trusted Driver updaters in the tech community, even seen repair shops use it as to get everything going as fast as possible. I will trust no other software outside of SDIO. Now it is recommended to download them from the manufacture if you can, but from my experience I have yet for it to cause and issue and I have been using it for 5+ years crossed multiple devices.

Without knowing where they are coming from well if you hover over the or press Ctrl it gives all the details - signature - provider - Date - version Hardware ID above as well. Compatible ID as well So it knows form where it's installing from. Hell the dam manufacturer website sometimes gives a lesser version and Snappy installer checks it and gives the option to install current latest version. I was literally shocked when i ran this and it said all my drivers were old not even close to latest version. I was like what the hell has windows update been doing all these years saying everything is up to date. Uptodate my as DAM pathetic Windows update 🗑️ garbage. When I checked with snappy driver and compared both windows update version and Snappy recommended version again I was like what literally all drivers were like 2018 version, one was 1972 version , snappy gave latest 2023/ 2024 versions of all that were available and for some it mentioned that no current latest version is available. After installing and updating and rebooting the laptop became fast , no glitch , no issues at all previously whenever I plugged in a flash driver windows never read it had to go to device manager install device every time MTB USB device but for windows everything is up to date 😅😅 Now the minute I put in a flash drive bam instant pop up comes no issues shows up instantly in file explorer. Curse u MICROSOFT windows update your as. Buggy and pathetic just like windows defender is useless in finding any malware , windows update is the same it updates as of Bill gat_s only.

I keep one on hand for shits and giggles (And repairs, too). Currently, it's at 36 gigs. Very convenient when you're at a customer's house and they have shit speed.

@@selphproklamed I agree with that. Very handy. Windows 7 doesn't have wifi drivers on a fresh install and this tool saved me a whole lot of trouble because I just plugged it in and installed the driver. Didn't have a single issue after that. For me it was 42 gigs to download everything.

But what if you need to install a wifi driver but dont have any internet because you dont have a internet driver but you also dont have an ethernet cable at all?? (Im in that position) I'm having a hard time with my computer because my wifi driver is so irrelevant that I can't find the correct driver. Can i still use SDIO to install my wifi driver to access the Internet again??

Snappy driver gives options wether you intsall the drivers offline and online, in the video he selected the online driver install, but if you want to use it for offline it will take hours or a day

Normal behavior. A lot of programs report W11 as W10 due to compatibility issues. W11 and W10 are also very similar.

@@Carambolero this is common in a lot of software because windows 11 is essentially windows 10 with a so called face lift. Lol in the control panel, it's so outdated it still says "roll back to windows 7" 10 was 8.1 with a facelift, 8.1 was 8.0 with a facelift and so on.

From what I've seen and heard, the non-origin version is bundled with adware/bloatware/malware/spyware. I've always just stayed away from it and used the Origin version.

@@memstechtips Thanks for the answer. I actually have a portable NVME, based on MediCat with a bunch of useful ISOs added. I also have a full 40GB-odd SDI no-ORIGIN on it. Haven't had any issues whatsoever. That's why I was asking. Love the content on your channel, BTW.

I haven't had that issue, but you can always just disable it for the time being. Are you sure you are using it exactly like I show in the video? You have to be sure that you're using the correct program.

I think he had a problem with drivers in the past, but to be fair if your computer is working properly you should avoid updating drivers and firmwares
